Thank you for following along, it makes all the filming and editing worth it when we know people are enjoying the films 😊 There are a few small videos to release then hopefully the Tanzania series will start very early new year 🎉 It’s a good one!
That looked utterly spectacular! And rather exhausting. Yeah, the rarefied air would certainly make for a lot of extra effort. Gotta say, the "sneak preview" of the Tanzania trip brought tears to my eyes... it already looks gorgeous.
😊 Thank you, I think Tanzania is one of the friendliest places we’ve ever been and we’re excited to share it in the new year. It’s great to be exploring with Steff again
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words again 😊. There are a few videos of a Cornish trip then a bit of a pause but then the next Africa series should start. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as this one if not more!
Utterly gorgeous. Awesome, Breathtaking. Epic. Not only Sani Pass, but also your filmmaking, Si. Have a great weekend, Günter/Nürnberg PS: Next September I'll be coming over to ride Wales again (not Enduro, though). Will you be around? Then I'll bring a few Bavarian beers for you two to try.
Hi Günter, I’m glad you enjoyed the series and thanks for such lovely comments 😊 Next year we’re in the early stages of planning the schedule, so far it includes Malawi and Mongolia! Keep us up to date with your plans and hopefully we’ll be around!
@@wanderinghonda7963 Your plans spund amazing. First Tanzania now, can't wait for your vids. Then Malawi and Mongolia. I'll let you know about our schedule. First a week in Portugal, my first flight since quite a while. Happy days, Günter
I know! Although I get the feeling that things in that area perhaps don’t always run according to plans so maybe there’s how for a few more years yet 😂
Ah! that was a fun adventure with the lads. I did Sanie on an old GS with the BMWclub about 24 years ago now, loved it. Thanks for taking us along so well, looking forward to Tanzania.
Thanks! It was something Nick really wanted to do and I’m so glad I got to do it with him. Cheers for all your comments through this series, it’s great having people follow along 😊
Love it! Such great content, well done on the camera work and editing. My fastest ever descent of Sani pass was on a mountain bike. Ps. The best Lesotho has to offer is off the beaten path on a two-smoke. Endless mountains, the goats have a great ability to naturally create tracks you can follow 😂
😂 love you’ve been down it on a mountain bike. I bet that was fun in the top sections I bet those tracks are interesting. I’m not sure if you’ve seen episode one but those mountains kicked our arse on the first day! Thanks for the lovely comments 😊
You guys riding skill made Sani Pass look less intimidating than expected but wow what an amazing ride to the top. Surprised to hear they plan to pave the road thus eliminating high adventure. Same thing happened on Pikes Peak in Colorado USA decades ago, but fortunately I got to run it prior to paving. I thought Sani Pass looked in better condition than it did 3 years ago when another famous rider climbed it. Thanks for the videos. One thing for sure this was a trip of posh (hoity toity) accommodations! Looking forward to seeing the the Rally's back in action in Tanzania....and of course most of all reuniting with Steff. Ride Safe! Peace!
My riding skills are low intermediate at most so I strongly suspect the pass was in good condition! It was still a lovely thing to take off the bucket list though 😊 Pikes Peak sounds interesting. I must go and Google it! We’ve often discussed the idea of getting a couple of bikes in America and using them to explore. We love it over there and you guys have some amazing riding, there’s so much we’d like to do. Unfortunately, as is the way in most of the Western world it’s practically impossible for us to buy bikes over there but every so often we do look into it. We love that you’re still following along with our adventures, it’s a lovely feeling to be able to bring people with us Hopefully you’ll bear with us for a month or so until I get the Tanzania footage together 👍🏼 thanks for all your support so far, have an awesome Christmas S&S
@@wanderinghonda7963 Accommodation's have become quite expensive here even for very basic, as has food. The Air B&B market has exploded sometimes offers an option of simpler accommodations for less money. But yes there is never ending remote desert in the west with drastically varying terrain and views, big mountains, hi pucker factor tracks, and wilderness where one could spend years exploring, and that doesn't include Alaska! Western US gets most attention but the east has is plenty of remote wilderness to get lost in. I, like many Americans spend too much time working and stuck in traditions to enjoy our amazing country to its fullest, but wife and I try and do more than average. I suppose part of reason I follow you is that you make the sacrifices to experience places I'll never get to and the style you do it in! Peace! Merry Christmas! Oh, and yes I am patient. Looking forward to Tanzania!!!!
The next trip is awesome, we absolutely loved Tanzania 🇹🇿 There will be a few intermediate short videos before that series but it’s definitely coming in the new year 🎉 I actually liked the T7 more than I thought I would. It’s a great bike, but you can’t really disguise the fact it’s almost 50kg heavier than our little red tractors! My problem is I like all bikes 😂 Thanks for following along with us and letting us know you’re enjoying the videos 😊
Cheers 😊 I’m going to be worse than useless I’m afraid when it comes to costs because this one was a very strange trip using some contacts of Nicks Because he works in the airline industry our flights were super cheap. His two mates out there arranged the bikes because they run a tour company so that was also at a big discount. I’m really sorry I can’t be more help, any other trip we do I can be more specific but this one was a weird one!
@ Nice one. No worries. Appreciate the response. Have seen a few people doing that sort of thing but lots end up with smaller cc 'well used' bikes. Yours looked decent. Really looking forward to Tanzania. 👍🏻
Thanks Jim, it can certainly be pretty tricky to get bikes. I’m currently trying to deal with a fixer in Malawi for a couple of bikes for Steff and I next year and it’s painful 🤦🏻♂️ We’re also in the early stages of sorting a ride across Mongolia and it’s looking like cheap 200cc Chinese bikes for us there! Sorry about the delay in the Tanzania series but it’s definitely coming in the New Year. It should be a fun one 😊
Thanks, it was a lot of fun if a little trying at times! I have to say I was really impressed with the T7. Really capable bike but when the going got tough I would have paid money to get my little CRF flown in 😂
It's just me again. Just want to say that your videos are incredibly well done. well filmed and well edited or as you say "stunning".
Thank you, that’s a really lovely thing to say and it’s hugely appreciated 😊
What an amazing journey with you guys. Can’t wait for the Tanzania 🇹🇿 trip!

Hands up if you're gutted they're planning on putting tarmac on the Sani Pass 🙋😢
I know! Although I get the feeling that things in that area perhaps don’t always run according to plans so maybe there’s how for a few more years yet 😂
@@wanderinghonda7963 Yes its on my bucket list for sure! Thanks for giving me some ideas for the rest of my route

I bet it was fun on an old GS. What a beautiful pass
Thanks for the lovely comment and we’ll see you in Tanzania!
Wow the Sani Pass looks incredible. That's definitely making the bucket list 😍
Great video as always Si 👏
Thanks! It was something Nick really wanted to do and I’m so glad I got to do it with him.
Cheers for all your comments through this series, it’s great having people follow along 😊
Well done on conquering Sani Pass! Not an easy track but you did it! 👏
Thanks! I think we found it in good condition, I suspect we were lucky but it feels great to have ridden such an iconic track 😊
Much Enjoyment 👍😎

Awesome ride guys, the Sani Pass is not any easy one. 👍
Agree with you, great and difficult
Thanks for the kind words. I think we got lucky it was in good condition but even so, it felt great to tick off such an iconic pass 😊
Thanks 😊
WOW
I hope you enjoyed the series. It was a fun adventure to ride.
As always thanks for following along 😊
Jase was probably loving not having rubbish in his ears all day... I know I do!

Epic series bud, bucket list stuff, amazing! 🤩 Now you have tackled some difficult terrain on the T7, would you consider one over the crf? 🤔
Thanks, it was a lot of fun if a little trying at times!
