Jack Perry is busy growing himself in Japan as a wrestler. He will be back and they will either screw up his return creatively, or put him into one of the hotter storylines at the company. Kid has potential and I think the sending of him to Japan is all been planned out.

The craziest part of it all is that a mid-carder (who’s still new to the business, no less) could get away w/ cussing out staff members and doctors AND challenge the biggest star of the company to a fight over a forgettable spot on a pre-show. I think had the altercation not have happened, Perry would’ve never been reprimanded by Tony Khan in any way.
You know, the Spoiler threw San Antonio promoter Joe Blanchard out of his own office over a payoff. Ole Anderson got shoot knocked out by Black Jack Mulligan on a weekly basis because Mulligan didn't like Ole's bookings. NEITHER FELT THAT THEIR LIVES WERE IN DANGER. Promoters don't have to be tough, but they can't be soft.
Felt like the turning point for AEW. It all started to go downhill fast after that. I loved watching AEW, now I struggle to watch a full episode. What a change the wrestling landscape had in such a short time. AEW and NJPW were hot af for some time and then just cooled off. Now, WWE is back to creating better shows again. NJPW have lost a bunch of wrestlers too.
Both Page and Perry were under the delusion they had just as much star power as Punk. And they were both very wrong.

I just don’t know what he thought was gonna happen. They used to have this pseudo “master/apprentice” dynamic on wrestling which made sense for a time. I said something a few days ago and someone had it deleted. Punk had a huge ego and holds grudges. He told someone they shouldn't do something dumb (and he was right, it was.) They did it anyway and called him out for it. He could've waited and said something to him after like a professional but his ego couldn't handle it and he put hands on him. Then went off on other people (miro). He was fired for his actions. But, because he (and his fans) hold grudges, they attack the company as a whole. They (many of you, be honest with yourselves) want a company with hundreds of people to go under and for them to lose their jobs because you hate, at most, 10 people. You treat punk like a god who can do nothing wrong when he's as guilty as anyone else for all of this. If he didn't attack perry for what he did (perry was absolutely wrong for that, btw) he would've flipped out on someone else for something else. He decided long before he didn't wanna be there anymore and was looking for a way out. Accept that. Accept that aew is flawed, as flawed as any other promotion but they are good for the industry as a whole. They deserve to be around and succeed for the business, as a whole, to thrive. So... put aside the nonsense and move on.

The fact that Perry nicknamed himself "The Scapegoat" kind of implies he is not sorry in the least about the All In debacle. Never mind that he was the one who not only refused CM Punk's input and also rubbed it in his face with the "real glass" remark, but reports have also hinted that Khan holds Perry for losing CM Punk, which was why Perry has been "banished" to NJPW (keep in mind, AEW and NJPW have a working relationship). Will Perry ever return to Jacksonville? At this point, I doubt that even if Perry got on all fours and prostrated himself to Tony Khan as an apology, Khan would still not budge, especially since not only did Khan lose CM Punk, but lost him to the WWE of all companies.

Same as Hangman Page, many of these AEW wrestlers think they know best, won't take advice from veterans in the business, and think that actually killing each other for real will get them over but it's not. It all starts from the top, Tony Khan won't take advice from people who have been in the business far longer as well and it trickles down to his talent.
If they get hurt, they get to sit at home and collect money. So it's basically a race to see who can get hurt the fastest and often enough to collect millions from Richie Rich while working the least.

I actually think if Perry returned, it could finally be his big break. He is literally the reason their biggest draw was fired, which would lead to a massive change in the wrestling industry. It screams a big storyline, but of course they still have to play their cards write.

Pretty wild how one sly comment essentially led to a wwe renaissance, a major down turn in aew attention, the rebranding of one stars career (cm punk) and the down fall of another (perry). All over a situation that could've been resolved with a simple "my bad, shouldn't have said that"
It's very telling that when you see the title "AEW Wrestler Who Ruined His Own Career" your immediate reaction is "Which one? I can list three just off the top of my head"

Jack had nothing that made him stand out as "yet another HBK wannabe" in a company packed with them once he dropped his gimmick. Even trying to turn him heel & act like a crappy nepo baby wasn't interesting cuz it was just... him. Hell, I'd argue that pairing him with Hook damaged Hook's momentum.
And as others pointed out, he had absolutely no reason to involve himself with the Punk v Bucks situation. Only one that I can think of is that he wanted to kiss up to the Bucks, which is just sad.
He's not exactly missed, and his legacy will now be "the kid who said The One Joke that AEW diehards think is a witty reply to anyone insufficiently praising the company on Twitter".
Perry will be fine as he can simply lean into being a heel, it at least makes him more believable as a "little shit" type heel! Bonus if they bring back Marko Stunt as jacks hired muscle.
