How to make patch panels, cheaper than buying them.Rust can be cut out of my Austin A30.

  • Trying to keep the cost of repairs down so I have tried to make the patch panels myself. Some came out well others not so good. Its a bit like my school reports"could do better"

    Please look into a bead roller and a set of stretcher/shrinker tools. Wasting a lot of grinding disks is quite expensive and will pay off any tools you get to make complex curves or other shapes desired. Carter auto restyling is a channel to learn about welding, metal shaping, and how to use basic tools to make any complex metal shapes

      I have a bead roller, didnt want to purchase any more tools as this will be my only build, thanks for the advise..........Lee

      Have watched many hours of YT videos before I brought this car. Yep they make the fabrication repairs look easy, its a different matter when you try to do it your self but I do seem to be getting better.Thanks for watching and comment....Lee
