@@ShivamYadav-kq1pl because interdisciplinary science is a new branch here. So there is not much data available about the placements and other opportunities. But it is really a nice branch if you are more research oriented. Nevertheless, you can also try for IT jobs but you gotta study it along with your curriculum. You get an IIT tag, but considering it is a new IIT, the amount of exposure you are going to get will comparatively be less. So it is completely up to you... Feel free if you want to ask anything else.
