I have question about sampling from vhs a I can't find anything about setting up the sampling process for a vhs/dvd/old video games using the red and white RCA slots. I plugged the cables from the vhs into my live 2 and thought it would be a simple process but I'm having trouble. Anyone else know some insights?

Good video I like the flavor pro, I need to setup the qlinks on my live like the sp404 for stutter , isolator etc.. unless you have a premade template you can share. That’s about the only way I can think of to quickly access the flavor pro filters while doing live performance track muting

Hey after the most recent firmware update I’m finding that when I zoom in and zoom out on the touchscreen while chopping samples the screen has become a little slow and glitchy. Has anyone else experienced this? By the way Malo this is pretty much exclusively how I use my MPC live 2. This is the first video I’ve ever come across that showcases this simple way to have fun reworking some of my favourite tunes. I love it.
This may be a silly question but. How did you sample from the phone? Does this MPC have Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity possibilities? Did I overlook this feature?
Did you ever use new serato studio? Can new mpc sampling software compare to seraro one? Serato is really good for samples even better than ableton imo.
I was just printing out the other day using air flavor wondering how much better it would sound with pro. Gotta start my trial, really sounds like the one thing this machine has been missing. Especially since printing out direct to the 404 hasn’t always worked out so well for me 😂. Great video as usual bro, and of course the beat is absolutely fire! 🔥
@@SnareBesBeats that was what I ended up dropping on the master, that plug-in is cheat codes! Flavor pro has a version of it that you can actually control along with the other vintage emulations. Idk why I’m being so sleep about this, most likely cause I don’t wanna spend the money lol.
@@darthknowl9222 I tried it last night on the master, it’s got a lot to offer feels just like RC20 for fans of that (I love that plug-in). Definitely something really creative to play with on the master bus. The mini d actually sounds pretty great as well and I have a Grandmother Moog. Obviously not spot on but good enough, especially with flavor pro on the track itself.

Pro tip: make a project template where a track is called 'drums' already with an accompanying drums program so you don't have to do that every time

Oh man, I’ve never used the Serrato software, so I’m not sure how that compares, but if anybody else wants to chime in on this one, please do so.
Serato Sampler is a monster on its own, you can time stretch the sample to any BPM you want while keeping the same pitch and MPC’s cannot do this

Try out the SP1200 preset on the master bus. It's fire.
