- My Ficus microcarpa "Tigerbark" have grown all summer to gain vigor and today I prune them up. These are part of my Chinese village penjing.
I also update my Ficus microcarpa "fancy" and the Community orchard.

It will take great patience my friend, but in the long run i dont think you can fail to have Penjing worthy of a show !!! greetings from England Nigel ....

Great work on the penjing again, good sir. I’m diggin it.
At first, the photographer looked like a hunter, crouched down and sighting in on those cranes. Haha. Took me a minute to realize that would not happen in a Nigel penjing, and I figured out what it was.
Loved the spiral orchard tour.
It would be nice with a bonsai bench wire fence in the background or something which suggests woods or something.
Nice one, is this your new scissors? It sounds good whatever it is, sometimes it sounds like youre shooting a 22caliber on the branches!😂
Just my humble thought...It seems like the tree leaf sizes are getting too big for the scale of the buildings...some of them are bigger than the house doors. Is it time to defoliate to get smaller lewves?? Overall, I like the new direction of ornamental trees around the penjing..
16:00 I think the lowest branch of the tree in the middle cuts too far "into"/in front of the house. I'd say it's a bit uncommon to have such a branch in "street trees", imo worth considering to take it off. Usually street trees get their lowest branches pruned so that they won't be in the way of pedestrians and cars, I think that's why I find it unusual
