Nice facility but would you consider purchasing this studio a good investment? Definitely not for music production in terms of attracting those willing to pay for studio time; maybe film scoring?
Dont sell the studio. Sell all the gear. Take the 500,000 grand you make and sign the best 5 songsrwriters in your city and work 8 days a week to write the best top line you can. Shop the songs in LA and try and recoup as much of the advances as you can in the next 10 years. Publish as much as you can and write write write and write
sadly these studios are no longer needed. hence the reason for the sale. It's honestly a sad time for the music industry where people would work together back in the day. - my opinion.
Relatively cheap digital technology killed the professional recording studio industry. Electronic generated sound killed the pro studio musician industry. Glorified ignorance killed the good song writing industry.
Why on earth would anyone buy a music studio? the music industry is dead….. the art of music is on life support and about to die. AI is destroying music and is the future…. Why be a musician when you can write what you want to hear and a computer will generate it for you. All this equipment is junk. If you don’t believe me just look up Udio. It’s over folks…..the creation of music is now over, in 10 yrs 9 of the top 10 songs will be AI generated.
Looks like they cut no corners when they built that one. Awesome studio! Good luck on the sale!
There is no need or demand for these kinds of studios anymore , sadly it’s coming to an end
or only a few at least
Most recording studios don’t survive. The competition is fierce. There’s a reason why this studio is for sale.
You can afford it thats why
Imagine having all that in my UAD small interface system Apollo X LOL

That's a good friends studio. DLS is an amazing studio for sure.
Indeed it is
That 5088 is a beauty
I echo that sentiment
sounds good , but bad build quality , I know 2 studios who has one , and have problems after just 4 years
I thought he said it was a Neve 8058?
It is but its better served at a scoring stage. Its the cleanest signal chain ever built no need imo at a place like this
@@aestbird I know someone who is considering a 5088. Do you know what problems the two studios have encountered? Thanks.
Saw a pretty talented band on that name wall. This is a beautiful studio!!!
Nice Studio.
somebody should call Willam H. Corgan... he's a Chicago dude.

Yep - that is what a couple of buyers/investors have mentioned - totally agree
Beautiful facility. Will have to check my bank account....

Do you take Venmo?
LOL - good one - check the daily limits...
You are better off selling the individual gear then trying to sell the studio friend.

How the hell is he gonna record them without the gear 🙄

Plenty of people never listen to anything in the top ten! 👍
@@john8451 It doesn't have to be top 10.... it can be the top 5000 it will all be AI generated, no talented needed, that is the fk'ing point.
