Two-Rock is without a doubt one of the most legendary modern amp companies, and I've finally gotten the chance to live with one for about a year now after many years of not fully understanding the hype. It's quickly become one of my favorite amps for almost every musical situation, it's a true workhorse amp. In today's video I'm going to walk you through the full feature set of my Two-Rock Classic Reverb Signature, and show how truly versatile it can be.

Wow! That intro track is next level!
Was just thinking the same thing. Absolutely smashed it.
As a wise man once said, “melodic tones, bro.” 🎉 Really an amazing intro tune for guitar-oriented timbre dorks like myself.
The intro slaps !
Omg yes
Sounds very similar reminds me of BadKidsGoodPeople stacking chips (project pat)
That intro is straight out of an adult feature film. Very nice!
Seriously 😂
Bow chicka wow.
My literal first thought.
I'm digging the Khruangbin vibes in your tracks today, Rhett!
I’ve been listening to a lot of Glass Beams lately
Yup agree
Came here to say this!!
Except Khruangbin's rig for the entire band probably costs less than one Two Rock.
@@RhettShull I don't if anyone else feels the same way - but it upsets me that Glass Beams are copying Khraungbin so closely
Sounds good through my Galaxy tab A speakers.
Great midrange on those lol
@@RhettShullI’ve got him beat. BlackBerry Curve 8520 👉🏻🔥
@@RhettShullonly midrange lol
@@jonbarwick5946Who hurt you?😂
😂😂😂
play more music for us rhett
Im loving where your voice is now on the guitar and how far its come in the few years ive been following your channel - not that you werent a pro before - but its clear how you continue to grow as an artist and performer. Pop off king
damn!! that intro jam man. you nailed it. so tight. the drums are engineered so well too! props to whoever mixed it.
Absolutely amazing, this is the best walk-through of the Classic Reverb I have seen. I think the difference is you have used it for a year and genuinely want to share your experience (Rather than trying it out for a week for a video). While I'm not sure your personal sound from the amp is the "classic" Two Rock sound, it is obviously one of the amazing sounds from this amp and one that I did not realize this "clean platform" provided. Thank you!
That EQ overlay is one of the best and most practical graphics I've ever scene on the platform. SO SMART!!! I don't know how hard it was to do but I'd love if you kept it around!
absolutely
just kept that track running in the background and it made my morning amazing... your playing has always been intuitive and you layer better than most. OH....AND you have a great channel with real world experience and insight. Leave some for the rest of us Mr. Shull!
This is one of the best instructional videos on the Classic Reverb Signature I've seen yet! Way to go Rhett! I've had mine for about 4 years now, I have enjoyed every minute I've plugged into it and no, I don't miss the three amps I sold to acquire it.
Holy shit Rhett... your playing on this video is the best I've ever heard from you. Not just tone, but your phrasing and note placement ideas... next level.
Man, that intro track is beautiful. Horns and strings are magic as a bed for nice melodies.
So much flanger. It's beautiful.
your intro tracks are getting better. The vibe is on point.
Dude, i'm only 4 minutes in the video and i'm being bombarded by musical goodness. I'ma like it now then continue. Man, you only go up
Very nice Rhett. Love seeing you stepping into new realms
All the tracks in this one are 🔥 the delayed out guitar in the track @ 8 minutes in the background is a perfect touch
Love the indie vibe you got on this intro track. Absolute heaven and eargasmic. Inspiration material!!!!
love this intro track Rhett, awesome job
I'm a few months into owning a Two Rock Bloomfield drive and it FINALLY feels like I got MY amp, absolutely love it! Love this video, thanks so much Rhett!
The Bloomfield is their best amp I reckon. I much prefer it to the CRS. Such an awesome amp and so practical at so many volumes. That second channel is genius, and I prefer the reverb much more in the Bloomfield.
congrats Rhett!!! you totally deserve it!!! cheers from Brazil 🥂
1.) This amp is SICK.
2.) I love the shots when you layer-in the visual EQ. Such a genius idea and really adds to the viewer's comprehension of what's going on.
All hail Rhett, the undisputed king of gear TH-cam!
Killer vibes and production on the demos man. The tune with that tele was album worthy.
Look at how we are all growing and becoming. So cool. Good job Rhett. Long time lurker, first time spurker.
I e had my CRS and Studio Signature, both for 2 yrs now. Two Rock amps are fantastic. They Weil make your pedals even sound better. I use a Soldano SLO Pedal with the CRS and it sounds massive. Good job Rhett
Some really nice playing in this one Rhett, well done
Thanks Rhett. Wonderful, as always My local guitar shop (Casino Guitars) is a Two Rock dealer. Being in the room with one and hearing it is hard to describe. I doubt I'll ever buy one, but they are so wonderful to hear. Enjoy! Peace
I love the intro track! Very tasteful.
Yo seriously killer opening track! I immediately paused and grabbed my headphones. Great sounding amp 🔥🔥
Rhett, nice job with the bass track! That's a killer tone and very tasteful playing.
Ghat damn that intro jam was good. Great bass playing too!
Fav intro track you’ve made ❤❤❤
You can just sink right into that intro track, love it! I've gotta give the Two Rock models in the Axe-FX a proper try.
Hi Rhett. Best amp demo I've ever heard/seen. Really temp
I listened to you with Oz Noy! So this is perfect timing brother.
Great intro song! 😎 very versatile amp, loads of fantastic tones 👌
Excellent sound and incredible tracks you played
That motif in the intro track sounds iconic. Great riff
Yeah That Really is a great intro Track ❤️ Love it, it’s got that real cool mid 70s Chilled out vibe going on.. Great Work Rhett ⭐️🌞👍🏻❤️🎸⭐️ Two Rock Amps are Incredible sounding I’d love one ..
Just used my Two Rock Studio Signature at a gig on Cape Cod last week. It sounded awesome. It's an amazing amp, especially with my '68 Strat, which was the only guitar I used that show. The Two Rock was a lot of money, but man it sounds great
Rhett your groove is so good. Big fan!
Rhett channeling Khruangbin with great success. Nice tracks man.
You hit it exactly
My Two Rock is in transit to me now! Good stuff Rhett!!
Great amp sounds there, Rhett 👍 I loved the bit of "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" by AC/DC in the Gain Structure demo portion 🙂👍
These sampled tracks sound incredible!
My Silver Sterling Signature should be here this month, it will look so good on my traditional clean, can't wait 😁😁✌️ amazing amps
Awesome intro Rhett !! After owning a few boutique amps...and selling them for a FM9....a Two Rock is the only amp I would consider investing in. (Ok, maybe a /13). Yeah, I'm nuts...I think they are worth every penny.
I think you've crushed the Two Rock website.
😂😂🎉😂😂
these jams are on an entirely new level for you, i would listen to this all day while i work.
ok that intro track was a banger and a half. well done!
the intro is the best 70's film soundtrack anthem i have ever heard - you need to send it to Tarentino's synch agent!
All the tracks in this video are some of the best i've heard on the channel
I have a classic reverb and didnt know alot of these tricks. great video.
Oh man. Killer intro. No doubt. Two Rock is the best!!
Wow Rhett what an awesome intro! 🤯🤩🎸
That intro track was IT my guy!! Really killin
Awesome intro! Khruangbin/Tom Misch vibes
I once owned a Studio 35. Moved out of the country & sold it. That was 5 years ago & I still dream of that amp.
Totally agreed with you. I just sold 8 amps and bought a Two Rock Bloomfield Drive and it’s incredible!!!
I'm selling a few things to get myself a CRS 100-watt. Worth the effort.
Been playing Two-Rock amps for 10 years. They simply deliver, inspire to play, and never leave me wanting anything else. They have everything I could ask for. It's where I stopped buying any other amps. I just sound the way I've always wanted to sound. And Eli, Mac, and the whole crew... just an amazing group of human beings.
Love them jam, Brett! Stay solid.
I just wanna say that that intro song was so fire that it’s sparked up Inspiration for me to play something different today. Not just that to all the other songs in this video is really good not really your style of so I see that you are evolving also which sounds really nice
That instrumental was fantastic. So vibey.
Excellent video, amazing amp.
What a great amp. Nice tour!
Digging the vibes. Very groove based kinda like Glass Beams. Stumbled onto those guys through you actuall when you did your Krunghbin vid. Glass Beams are really vibey. I’m digging the resurgence of this post rock instrumental genre… last time the instrumental rock hit so hard was early 2000’s with Explosions in the Sky.
That music at the beginning is great!
Love the vid-especially your tracks. Totally agree that they’re next level! Also agree that the Two-Rock isn’t forgiving-it’s super high-fi. There’s a Jet 35 at my music school. Miss that thing (not there anymore)-loved practicing with my Strat on it when I could.
Gorgeous tones
The intro sounded phenomenal through my very good car stereo, truly amazing. I can't quite place the song those triplet melody notes remind me of.
Great playing. Next level.
I love my two rock. Studio pro 22 combo. Makes everything sound so great
I love my John Mayer signature Two Rock and Dumble, just can't get enough.
That intro was some heat my man! 🔥
Intro is amazing! 🤙
Such a great talented man, the plays from the soul...
Your songwriting has grown exponentially, Rhett. (I'm referring to the intro.) I haven't heard a finer original tune from any other TH-cam guitarist. Pat yourself on the back.👏🤘👍
Quite a thing when you get something that unlocks the next level. Sounds really smooth.
absolutely amazing Amp imo !!
I’m fixn to get me one in may. Excited.
Love the vibe. Reminds me of late 70s and late 90s.
Bass playing phenomenal Rhett 🤘🏻🤘🏻
LOVE this video, Rhett! Also, I would be ever grateful if you shared how you got that bass tone... 👀
First seen/heard one(head and 2x12 cab) played on by Jonathan "Boogie" Long (King of the Blues winner) at a lil festival near my home town, back in 2021. That thing sounded amazing and loud, wasn't even miked up...all blueish tolex. I got to ask him about it after the show, he said it was a 50w. I was in awe, it rocked hard!
Hey Rhett - I have a 50w original Onyx that Bill Krinard built. It's amazing!
Loving the intro track! Think I was hearing some echoes of Live from Trona (Toro y Moi)
Rhett…WE NEED A EP OF THOSE JAMS ASAP! On vinyl of course!
I was at the concert in Fulton, KY and loved the sound you had there! It was an absolute travesty that it seemed like hardly anybody was there to appreciate the band. 😢 At least know that you had one fan there!
Killer Intro!
Rhett, you need to release that opening track man, absolutely killer
Sonoma county representing! Mesa Boogie, Voodoo Lab, Two Rock, Sine Wave Amps, Alembic. Just a little area north of San Francisco killing it in the gear world.
Sweet video graphic showing the transparent eq curve
It does sound amazing!
The Classic Reverb or the Silver Sterling Signature have been my bucket list amps. Currently rocking a 78 ultralinear twin reverb for those extremely loud cleans, but if I ever run into an expendable $7k I will immediately purchase one of those
Great tracks Rhett love them! Agree - TR amps are lush.
You forced into pulling out my Two Rock FM3 patch! Sounds great, but... I want the real deal!
I want a Two Rock Amp so bad! Sounds amazing!
I'm sorry tell you this, but i am afraid they don't just "send one your way". Would be nice though 😂
I almost have enough penny rolls saved up, and I'm selling my 2003 Toyota Tacoma to get enough monies...🤣
Maybe one day i will get lucky at the Casino....
@@StudioAmpCaptures nono, we don't work like that here. You just buy the amp, 3 new pedals and an expensive synth for some reason, and then you buy ramen with credit card by the end the month. Then repeat as soon as possible.
Good review Rhett! I knew they were pricey but did not know what price range they fell into. To me, they are fine for an in-demand working musician, not for the regular Joe.
I just went through the demo of all the various settings a couple of times, and what I’m hearing is that this amp has a pronounced “character” sound that was present no matter how you dialled it. Not something I would consider extremely versatile. No matter what the setting, even in that attempt at a scooped Fender sound, I hear a particular kind of pronounced midrange - not sure quite what frequency range, but it sounds for my taste like what I think of as a “congested” sound. Like it’s always leaning a bit toward a cocked wah sound. Not a bad sound, for sure. But not something I personally would want as a foundation tone in everything I play.
This FET boost like an "under-driver" (as the TPS guys call it) looks like a crazy feature but so usable !
Personally, I prefer when there are some unusable sounds on the sweep of the eq controls. Knowing that I can go beyond my desired range of boosting/cutting gives me the assurance that the tone I want is in there somewhere! With that said, it doesn’t seem like the classic reverb will leave you wanting for anything. Great video!
