I Totally agree! There is a video somewhere where Paul Gilbert is playing bass while Satchel is playing. Anytime someone like Paul Gilbert plays bass to your guitar your a Guitar GOD!
I was wondering where you had been. Great video.....i haven't even thought of Steel Panther in a long time. Cool deal. Let me know if you want to do some collabs later on I should be able to get you some higher quality masters now.
Hey Dave 👋 Section 3 reminds me of Randy Rhoads 2 note trills in his solos which he used frequently. You should put a Hulk or Green Lantern sticker on your pick guard LOL 😆 GO GREEN. Sounded great as usual ROCK ON BRO 🤘 🎸. In case you don't put out a video next week. MERRY XMAS TO YOU N YOUR FAMILY 🎄
great as always! Quick request, this has probably been asked before but any chance at taking a run at VH's "One Foot Out the Door"? Only Doug Steel ehas an old version out there & it's nothing like your studies.
Can you please do Mr. Crowley from tribute and also the spotlight solo from suicide solution and Sails of Charon from Scorpions aaaaaaaannndddd musical death from Testament. Hahah those are my requests. And you know those are good choices!
Section 4 is alternate picking. In the slow speed You picked up, down,up,down , change up,down,up,down. Change up down,up,up but then when you changed string , picking went to down,up,down,up. So. It was not alternate picking. When you played it at regular speed. You picked. Down,up,down,up. Change Down,up,down,up. Change Down,up,down,up. Change Down,up,down,up. Which is alternate picking.
Satchel is one of my favorite guitarist. He needs to get more recognition.

Great Video as ALWAYS!! (P.S. - That Yellow Guitar hanging on the wall is MONEY!!!)
That was one of the best guitar lessons ive ever seen. Especially going through the scales at the beginning was very helpful.

PDX" Guitar is the best ' tank's lesson 'help blues shuffle solo lesson improvise "👍👍☝indonesia
I'll never get used to your picking grip. But every time, you make it work ! Well done !

Hey Steve, I've been thinking about that one for a while too, as I love it. It's on the very long list of requests :)
Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed this week's lesson! So what is your favorite Steel Panther song or solo? :)
Any chance of another Journey lesson, like Line of Fire solo or Mother Father?
17 Girls in a row!
Can you please do Mr. Crowley from tribute and also the spotlight solo from suicide solution and Sails of Charon from Scorpions aaaaaaaannndddd musical death from Testament. Hahah those are my requests.

What happened to that Judas Priest "Fever" lesson?
MORE SATCHEL!!!
Nice video, I hope one day you'll make a tutorial of All I Wanna Do Is Fuck (Myself Tonight) by Steel Panther, that solo is killer
🤘
🤘🤘🎸🎸
Also could we maybe get some Dokken/George Lynch stuff and Motley Crue?
Hey Josh, I will take that into consideration. Thanks! :)
Section 4 is alternate picking. In the slow speed You picked
up, down,up,down , change up,down,up,down. Change up down,up,up but then when you changed string , picking went to down,up,down,up. So. It was not alternate picking.
When you played it at regular speed. You picked.
Down,up,down,up. Change
Down,up,down,up. Change
Down,up,down,up. Change
Down,up,down,up.
Which is alternate picking.
Yes, I alternate pick that section for sure. If I changed it up when I played it slow, that's not intentional LOL :)
@@PDXguitarfreak plus don't start #4 on the up pick. Because that will always leave the pick below the string.
Thanks for the lesson , please check my video after learning the solo from this tutorial
