"My Year..." "Everything..." and "Severance" - all three are GREAT.
Severance for April book club, yes! Wanted to read that one for ages, so that'll be perfect!
For the book club, All the lovers in the night, Everything I never told you or Severance would all be great!
I love Mieko Kawakami! She’s the best literary fiction author I’ve read recently
I NEED "The familiar" !!!!
"My year of rest and relaxation" I kinda enjoyed but kinda didn't 😅 Interested to see how you like it
Spring cleaning with new books on the horizon. Such fun! 👏🏽

Beverly Jenkins is a G.O.A.T!. I just reread Rebel last month. I think you'll like it.
I really want to check out hope ablaze. The author who wrote hope ablaze was actually at uoft last week and I wasn’t able to go. Upset I didn’t get to go
I’d love to read evocations, the familiar, how to end a love story, truthfully yours, goddess of the river and severance
I am curious why My day of rest and relaxation is so hyped lol...I mean I read it and I definitely was intrigued by the main character and the other side characters but idk it wasn't amazing so would love to hear your take on it.
Oo interesting! We'll have to see lol
Truthfully Yours and Funny Story are on my TBR list.

love this haul and can't wait to hear your thoughts! also "nguyen" is pronounced closer to "win" 😊
I recently found that out and I was shook! LOL.
I finished reading “The Parable of the Sower” by Octavia E Butler and greatly appreciated reading it (:
💜💜
I do have some books to read this spring
The green mile by Stephen king
Lasher by Anne rice
If the shoe fits by julie Murphy
The guncle
The maid
Thanks for introducing Sarah Mughal Rana.
😊
I also love reading books about mental illnesses (I have ocd & bipolar) but I think reading you know what you did may trigger me so I’m not going to read it. I can’t read mystery/thriller anyways, I’m a big scaredy cat.
Your skin 🔥
The Palestine flag in the background is everything ❤️
