    This has been encouraging to listen to today. I just ironically emptied out a packed closet of yarn and craft supplies and I'm overwhelmed with how much came out of the closet. Clutter is truly stressful for me but I have alot of chronic fatigue and have to do something about it now.

      Thank you, I'm glad my video encouraged you. Decluttering can be overwhelming, especially with chronic fatigue, but taking it step by step is progress. Celebrate small victories and remember, you're not alone in this journey. Feel free to check out more videos for inspiration. You've got this! 😊🌟

    @42:17 Hee, Hee! I pulled everything out of my two bathroom cabinets 3 months ago. I organized under there and put back what I wanted, but the rest of the stuff is in containers on my bedroom floor. Looking at that stuff is exhausting and depressing. Linens are on my floor instead of shelves. It’s not that I want or will use the BTHRM stuff, it is just overwhelming me.
    [Note: I am 70, can’t do as much physical work as I used to, and I have Hashimoto’s so I am always beat. I just figured out that the reason I have never been able to clear out that stuff is that when I come up to my bedroom, I automatically go to bed (it IS a bedroom) no matter what time of day or night it is. I look at the containers, etc, and just think I am too tired, I’ll do it later, but later also slips away…]
    So, this has been an ah ha moment for me. Maybe start on it when I first get up (whenever) even if it is just a little bit at a time. I am tired of feeling guilty and even more tired when I look at all that stuff. It has been living stuffed in those cabinets and unused, so why hold onto it “in case” or make myself dig through it again. If I have done without it so far, it’s probably time to toss it.
    Okay, I am going to bed now…💤😴

      I understand how overwhelming and exhausting dealing with clutter can be, especially with physical limitations and health conditions. It's commendable that you organized your bathroom cabinets, but I can see how the remaining items on your bedroom floor might be causing stress and guilt. Your realization about starting the decluttering process in the morning is a great step forward. Remember to be kind to yourself, take small steps at your own pace, and celebrate each achievement. Tossing the unused items can help lighten the burden and create a more comfortable living space. You're making a positive shift in your mindset, and our community is here to support you. Wishing you restful sleep and success as you work towards an organized and comfortable home. Take care!

    My late husband & I had a small business, and so I respectfully disagree with getting rid of employee files. I was told by 2 different attorneys & also our former accountant that employee files must be kept. In the future they can sue you & you are required to keep them for many years. ❤ all of your content @AngelaBrown !

      Thank you for sharing your perspective and personal experience regarding employee files. I completely understand your point of view, and it's essential to consider legal and professional advice when it comes to managing business records. You're absolutely right that keeping employee files can be crucial for potential legal matters or audits in the future. Following the advice of attorneys and accountants is a wise approach to ensure compliance with legal requirements.

    Thank you Angela. I appreciate your video podcasts. Which I look at as conversations.. between two people, back & forth, speaking on the same subject to explain specific points that you see every day. I'm older & partially disabled with a severe back curvature which brings my ability to stand limited. Therefore I have a houseful. I can see with your help an improvement. Disability is a real thing for a lot of us. ... Glenda

    37:15 is this cheap dishware store still in existence? We live in boone but sometimes make it down the mountain, would love to check a place like that out

    • @AskAngelaBrown
      @AskAngelaBrown  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. It was Carolina Pottery at the border of North and South Carolina at Carrowinds Blvd. I believe the outlets for the cheap dishware is now the Dollar Tree. They have glass ware for about $1.25 each - plates, mugs, bowls etc. Also, Walmart has packs of dishes that are bright colored (picnic ware for cheap. 4 bowls for $2.88) or something like that. Every spring and summer they have new colored collections that come out with matching table cloths..
