Absolutely love the story I can’t wait to come along on your journey. I’ve always been obsessed with helicopters as long as I can remember, my father was an engineer and pilot for Hughes tool Company in the early 60s. he also ran a helicopter charter business on the island of Jamaica from 1966 to 1969, I spent a lot of time with him in the air and he taught me to fly the Hughes 300 I was about 14 years old. Unfortunately my father was killed in a freak helicopter accident in 1971 just a year before I graduated high school and my mother made me promise not to Pursue a career as a helicopter pilot. I pretty much put helicopters on the back burner and quenched my helicopter obsession flying radio control helicopters. After I discovered Hill helicopters and then Clints channel I am once again obsessed with helicopters. Owning a Hill helicopter is now on my bucket list. Thanks Clint, stay safe and focused and God bless you and your family❤🙏
Reading your post made my day and I can’t thank you enough for watching the series and for taking the time to write a comment. I’m so sorry for the loss of your father but I’m so glad to also hear that your love of helicopters and aviation is still there and that the videos have helped to reignite the flame. That is the purpose behind Finding Hill and I look forward to hopefully meeting you in the near future. Thank you again!
I started watching this and said, is that Clint Pulver, holy cow! Great story Clint, and a great story teller. Looking forward to the journey. Looking forward to hearing Clint say “I love it here” from the cockpit of a Hill Helicopter.
There is never a dull moment with you Clint. Just when one thinks it's a wrap, you come back with something amazing. I am so glad I met you my man. Thanks for getting this out to the world. Gratitude 🙏
Congrats Clint! Great video and happy for you. Welcome to the Hill Helicopters community. Look forward to meeting you at the Global MeetUp or on another Hill event 🚁💨💨💨
Dear Clint We haven't met before. Neither have we known about you longer than this very video and yet we know that your heart is in the right place and that we share a love for the same passion. The aviation spirit is truly engraved in your DNA, that is very evident and so great to see! Your journey is a very inspiring and moving story and it will continue to be - just in the air from now on! We wish you many happy landings and all the best from Switzerland Akash & Remo Prop Clear PS: Great production quality!
STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!! This is insane! I can’t wait to watch your journey. You have been dealt several tough blows and you always pick yourself up and come through the darkest times shining like a diamond! Yeehaw! LETS GO!!!
I live literally 40 mins from Hill helicopters and also dream of owning a HX. I'm getting closer to the day of ordering one, I'm fighting my way back having suffered a stroke and looking to regaining my medical to pass me fit for flying again 😊
Great story! It mirrors a little of my path to Hill... I grew up in SLC too and followed everything that had to do with Helicopters. I'm actually going to be at the rollout in Duxford - I'll be looking for you. Congrats!
This is amazing! So good. Love that the medical industry has advanced enough that you can fulfill this lifelong dream. You are so inspiring. Can't wait for the rest of the series!
Your story telling skills and videography are top notch. I watched your video from beginning to end. I too would love to have an HX 50 after just recently discovering it and all the stats you quoted. Who knows, maybe one day we'll meet at a helipad somewhere with our own choppers! Bon Chance!
Clint, it is so great to uncover new aspects of the amazing person you are! We are privileged to know you a little and through this get to know you a little better. Glad people we love are regularly rubbing shoulders with you.
Thanks for sharing your inspiring story with the world and for trusting Excel Eye Center with your eyes, first with Dr. Parsons for your corneal cross-linking and then with Dr. Loveless fitting you with your scleral contact lens!
Clint, you are an inspiration and your love of aviation reminds us that have this flying bug of what keeps us looking skyward like DaVinci so eloquently described. Well done on this video segment.
I am so thrilled for you and this fulfillment of a life long dream Clint. What an inspiration and reminder to keep the dream alive! Well done! Excited to follow your journey! 🎉🎉
Getting to see that much of the fabled bucket list was the highlight of this for me. I've got #27 on lock for you, but #10 nearly put me into an existential crisis. Feels like the kind of thing you don't get to check off until you're right there with your foot touching the bucket.
I took the opportunity to ride a bull in the rodeo a summer I worked in Yellowstone. As I sat down on that big old animal and looking at its horns it shifted in the stock and slammed my leg into the gate, I realized this animal wants to kill me and it’s freaking huge. There’s no words to describe how exhilarating that was and the massive adrenaline rush that came with it. 10/10 would recommend for everyone’s bucket list.
Dear Clint your story is not that dissimilar to mine, with the exeption that your outcome is amazing and flight is now achievable where with me i lost vision overnight in my left eye and flight is now but a pipe dream. But all is not lost. Even though I won't be able to take the controls of my own HX50, i will find a way to be involved with the HX50 Community here in Australia because people believe in this product called Hill Helicopters and HX50 and HC50 and that man Dr Jason Hill has revolutionised private helicopter ownership without 1 aircraft leaving the earth. He is the modern day Davinci. Im definatly following your journey as your story brought tears of joy to this 57 yo so like and subscribed i did.
I can't wait for the next episode Clint, especially when you sit in HX50 for the first time. Dont hold back on the description and the feelings. All the best.
