    You're my youtuber of the year, bruv. CRPGs and tactical RPGs are the hardest shits ever to review and you're out here getting 100% for a review. Lovers of the genre know how much work this is and you are just killing it. Make sure to take breaks and not get burned out!!!!

    People will say that you have the dream job, getting to 100% awesome RPG's and play all day. But man, I cannot even imagine how hard you have to work not just to finish the games, but also to make these videos. Awesome work man!

    • @AlmarWinfield
      @AlmarWinfield ปีที่แล้ว +26

      As someone with an extremely similar job, it's fun 70% of the time (90% of the time if you're playing a game you love) but it does become very grindy at some points. I write guides and occasionally I will be working on the same game for an entire month and I have to force myself to finish cause if I don't all my work is useless. Kind of like coding, if you code 90% of a program you can't just release what you got cause the program won't work if you do. You HAVE to finish for any of your work to have value

    • @theneosuperzero
      @theneosuperzero ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It depends on the person. I enjoyed my games, but I hate the grind. Even if I REALLY like and WILL 100% that game, it always feel like a chore. Always, even if it's my favourite game like Tactics Ogre and FFT. So I can't imagine grinding thousands of games and the majority are games that I have no interest in the first place. It makes me throw up just thinking about it. Again, it depends from person to person. I wouldn't think playing games as a job as a Paradise tbh. It's nice, but not as good as most people would think.

      @@infamousincubus2888 Palace of the Dead is where I eventually just took a break from the game. But that was back on the PSP, idk if they fixed some of the problems in this one, but back then, farming those rare drops was agonizing, despite the rest of the game being amazing.

    I was delighted to discover your channel! Still going through the rest of your videos. I'd also love to see your review of two particular games I remember from the old days. The first is Fallout Tactics, often criticized for failing to become what it was never meant to be in the first place - a proper Fallout game. Still, I came to appreciate it for what it actually is - a TRPG - and as such it was pretty solid. The second is Pool of Radiance 2 based on DnD 3dE, one of the first of its kind. I never finished the game, but for history's sake PoR 2 is worth checking out too.

    Awesome review bud, you are quickly becoming my favorite game reviewer period. You seem to have similiar taste to me for most things, and even on the things I disagree with you have a clear thought process and you make your points very clearly and well laid out. And I really love that you 100% the games you review. It really does make you stand out, and it helps remove a lot out the questions or doubts I have with some other reviewers. There are moments where sometimes someone says "... these things might clear up in the end game" or speak like they have no knowledge on one mechanic or another that seems rather important. It makes me wonder how much they really played and how reliable their take is. To me it doesn't feel like you can properly review a game if you haven't played all of it, aside from maybe some achievements depending on the style. It's like a movie reviewer who only watched 3/4ths of the movie. Your reviews feel complete and fully fleshed out, and it makes my decisions much easier to make based on that. I appreciate your time and effort, and you are doing a very good job bud :)

    You should do a lore video on this series, like you did with Divinity. I’m halfway through this story and I’m hooked

    This is a game that I missed both times it was previously released. I'm definitely picking it up this time though.

    Yea I cannot wait to get my hands on this too. I’m psyched. I had this for Nintendo 64 but I vaguely remember any of it at all.

    This sounds interesting and while I've never played this game, I did play a lot of final fantasy tactics. I remember the pains from then and your mention of this union level is causing me hesitation. Perhaps, I should just wait for a sale.

    Have to ask how long did it take to get Deneb and what's the word on glass pumpkin drops?

    Thanks for confirming the game works in the steam deck. Now I feel confortable just preordering the game. I guessed it would work but I have so many JRPGs in my backlog that won't work for some reason or another that I wasn't sure if I could enjoy it again laying in my bed like I did with my psp years ago 🙂
