Been following you since four thousand subscribers and I gotta say you’ve evolved and grew into one of the most smart, talented and humble sound designers, teachers and content creators ever! keep on making art and tools my friend!
I found that at the beginning I was hoarding too much whatever free plugin I could find, but in the last year I narrowed pretty much to vital and spitfire labs on the instrument side. So I have learnt not to be too influenced by FOMO and look if a new plugin would fit my process or a specific need, and I must say this looks very tempting so I'll test it out. Good job!
My dude..... I will be honest- I created a UVI account and an iLock account then waited 3 hours for everything to to download, install and verify. The whole time I am thinking to myself, "all this for just a free plugin??" Then I listened to some of the sounds..... Absolutely amazing. The ambient sounds and the pads are so tasty! I can see this is going to get a good amount of use from me. Would I go through all that again for a free plugin? Probably not..... but I'm glad I did for this one. Your hard work and dedication to the craft shows in this magnificent tool. Congrats on the release and thank you for giving it to the world!
Yeah, startet the process and after downloading the 6th third party software and creating an account for each of them I just stopped and deleted all of my progress. But Yes thank you for creating an powerful vst for free. But the procedure is out of this world.
I would absolutely never use this for a real project because of this :/ It doesn't matter how good the sound is, if this crappy iLok software breaks and i need a new machine, i'm screwed (and based on my impression as a software engineer, that software will 100% be broken in 2 years).
Your commitment to making something this spectacular CANNOT be overstated, I am in awe at this entire library and how much work went into crafting it. And with it being free for anyone to use, I can't WAIT to hear all the different ways people will experiment with it in the coming year - 2024 is gonna be the Year of Noctua

This is fun. I'm listening to this on a train and, every now and then, I hear a horn which I keep thinking is part of your sounds. This kind of free thing used to come from the minds and cluttered bedrooms of nascent amateur producers. And, often, they weren't good. It's amazing to have something of this depth made by a pro and still free. Thank you.
That horn sound is incredible. And well done on the instrument and sounds altogether. And thanks for all your work on this, really great job! Normally one starts with a preset and tinkers with it to improve it, but these are "final products", they're so good!
already downloaded, thanks homie!! uvi is the best, they were the first sound library i bought in 2004 and i am glad they are still going strong AND that first library i bought still loads perfectly in the workstation and falcon. amazing!!
Man, I'm actually excited about a plugin. I'm really looking forward to loading this up. Thanks so much for releasing it for free. I'm quite excited by the morphing and rhythmic sequencing possibilities, and also the layers upon layers of atmospherics combined with my quite hectic drum patterns and my strong love of triplets, glitch and reversed drums (its not for everyone...) Seriously, when I first heard about this I was like "ugh youtuber plugin" but hearing and seeing what it is and what it can do, I'm really impressed. This is cool as hell. So thanks for the lesson, thanks for the plugin, thanks for not making a "song generator" like certain other youtubers may have, thank you for something genuinely new and exciting. (I think you finally figured out what granular synthesis is "for" in terms of music outside of drones/noise. Like we know how, and we know what, we just didn't have any real way to USE it before now. You made granular melodic? WTactualF!)

You have now left the realm of "unique cool sound design apps" and entered a new plane previously only inhabited by Reznor & Atticus. But they kept their dark arts to themselves, while you have birthed a masterpiece of cinematic/ambient sound exploration, encased it within a gorgeous minimalist GUI, and then threw it down in front of the artist community like a fallow gauntlet. And you know we would have eagerly bought this. But in unleashing this demon box for free, you have not only created untold rabid fans and devoted followers, but also immeasurably improved the actual creation of powerful, bespoke audio artistry, across our species, forever. It sounds great, thank you! One suggestion I would offer is increasing the resolution of the GUI in a future update. On my 4k monitor it is incredibly difficult to read. Thank you again!
You can resize UVI gui, if I remember correctly. It's same as Arturia stuff, you need to find a menu option. Can't check it right now. But I think it's possible.
@@joelcarloaymat Really? [Hamburger Menu -> Preferences -> UI Scaling]? I just got home and installed Noctua, and it does resize everything, at least on Bitwig and Reaper. Also, as an aside, UVI Workstation seems to scale the UI nicer than Falcon itself. Like significantly... Or maybe it was a graphical glitch that would have resolved with some closing and re-opening of the Falcon, but I was just testing the UI scaling quickly.
@@straechav thanks for following up. I reinstalled Falcon yesterday and sorted it out. Falcon tends to do weird stuff sometimes in Maschine and I figured a fresh install might fix it. Cheers!
Just got this.Amazing!Thanks so much. Absolutely love the Epoch lead, it sounds very reminiscient of the sound used for UVI's rather good Falcon ad. which I admit to humming along to(it's that good). Anyway will hopefully put this to good use,it certainly more than deserves it.
SO what I realize very quickly is that I have spent BIG BUCKS this year alone on instruments that are not one whit better, or even as good for that matter, as this free one. THAAAAAAAANK YOUUUUUUUUUU VT! And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours sir! I think I'll make a track with this instrument over the break.
I'm guessing the bandwidth issues are because everyone is rushing to get it and the site wasnt expecting the traffic but God Damn its taking ages to connect at every stage. Looking forward to actually listening to what it can do when the site, the portal and the uvi workstation finally let me in to download the thing itself. Sounds great on the youtube

I lost track of time when I started testing this plugin. It sounds very decent, I always need a lot of instruments to find the right sound, but here, it spins magically and somehow sounds incredible. All evening I've been watching previews of plugins that are on the site and adding to my wish list. 😁🔮 Huge respect, for this creation. and of course I really want to get other plugins from this producer, because if the free one sounds so good, what's in the paid versions. 🤔
Wow this is perfect for a project I'm currently working on. Its a dark ambient concept based on the Blue John caverns in the UK and these sort of textures are just what i wanted. Thanks for your endeavour as this is looking like a go to instrument for me!

Just installed and registered. Went to the 'Creep' preset. Pressed the keyboard ..... the deep, monitor rattling sound that came out. I'm HOOKED!!
