    Prince asfawessen for tht matter all royal families, prince asfawossen is especial because he has got a royal blood from both zagewe and solomon dynasty,
    They are not ordinary citzens, they are symbols, Ethiopia will never be rulled peace fully with out an emperor,so these guys getting (adapting another nationality), it is a blow to them, there is no danger to his life , since the germans granted him a political asylum status, there is no need to change his Ethiopian citzenship.

    As much as I resent the idea that prince claiming to be a German,I fully embrace it considering him an individual who has the right to decide for himself with no responsibility and entitlement of the Ethiopian people.Though I have one question:I found it sad that he generalized and claimed a word opponent does not exist in the 2000 different languages in Africa.I wonder how you can even exclude the word 'ተቃዋሚ'.
    But all in all....such a literate and humble man.

    He is talking about Africa during the past . Many in Africa didn't know about word 'ተቃዋሚ' before liberation in the 1960's. Of course African intellectuals did know the term 'opponent' but they did not invent a word in their local languages. Our leaders in Ethiopia still have dificulty understanding this term. by the way i am not sure we in Ethiopia have a word for 'compromise'. probably Mechachal but not exactly. It is not DirDir which is more of a negotiation. Think before you blink :-)

    • @SamA-eh8ic
      @SamA-eh8ic 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Abraham Tulesa I don’t know why we need those words. You obviously need those words when you import different cultures associated with them, democracy being one of them.

    We do have a word for opponent, at list in Amharic, the word"Tekarani" means, literally, opponent. Forget the 2000 languages in Africa that is your native tung. WTF is you talking about?

      @zee zeem actually, he saying that - no a word b/n a friend and an enemy- is utterly nonsense , to be kind, an ignorant to be blunt. I can name at least five words for that barley in Amharic , let alone an other 2000+ .
      1. አቻ
      2. ወደረኛ
      3. ተቃዋሚ
      4. ተፎካካሪ

    Asfa Wossen God sake stop using the title Prince! The Monarchy in Ethiopia has
    long been dissolved and long forgotten about in the minds of Ethiopians
    them self! the majority of Ethiopians hated the Monarchy coz they were
    out of touch with the majority poor citizens. Only western
    instituations / academia have interest on the subject but not the
