I bought the Ryzen 3 3200U version in November of 2020 and I love it. Does everything I want a laptop for at a cheap price. I popped in 4 gb of additional ram and had a 240gb ssd laying around I stuck in for a bit of extra storage (Enough for me). The biggest surprise for me was the webcam. I had little webcam experience, and the tiny amount I had with other webcams was underwhelming. This one worked well for work meetings, and even a few web appointments with my doctor.
Great video! You really give good and helpful information. I also like that you took the effort to add those nice subtitles! Some people might have some trouble with your Indian (?) accent (like me - I am German), but the subtiles are really helpful, since sometimes there is just a word or two that I did not understand right away. All in all: Great and amazing job!

What is the comparison between AMD Ryzen 7 3700U and these models? I've always noticed the extra numbers Behind the Ryzen 3, 5 & 7 but never understood the difference. I'm mainly asking because I'm looking to get the Acer Aspire 5 A515-46-R3CZ model which has the fingerprint reader and I don't want to make any mistakes. If you could review this laptop that would be great as well!
If I remember correctly,on the AMD side, the ryzen 3000/4000U laptop chips are not hyperthreaded. The 5500u,although it is zen 2 based, does come with hyperthreading,and is very cheap at the moment. It's about the same benchmark as 10th gen i7/11th gen i5,but comes in cheaper,and has much better integrated graphics. The only downside is no quicksync or equivalent.Still a great processor though.

3700u is older chip and 5700u is newer chip,just go with 5000 series or 6000 series (if lucky) with amd and Intel with 12 th gen

The intel 12th gen CPUs are still very power hungry, and run very hot. This seems to result in thermal throttling and poor battery life still.
