Wrong kind of paper, dude. Try hot or cold-press watercolor paper, depending on your preference.
You're just using the wrong paper...search for a watercolor paper
Well this uses to be me before I got into art and realised u need to use proper watercolour paper made fo watercolouring.
Me: It's so Easy
My Brain: YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THAT KIND OF COLOR!!!
But you can mix colours and make something similar to them.....you won't regret.

I have a cheap watercolor paper and it doesn't feel good either ㅠㅠ
When you want to paint it *like* that: TRIES and failed:

The fact that you made it like anime! Not too cartoon nor realistic! 😮
The watercolor is 80% what gives it that anime look.

This is so amazing I'ma try this
i remember the first time i actually use and create, for me a very good watercolour painting on an very important exam.I am a science student but i also take art on the last year of my highschool, i really suck at painting to be honest but after binge watching yt videos on how to paint, i can paint very well and using my own imagination helps a lot, then after i got the result i got A in art.(also tips from teachers help too)
