    Did you produce this video yourself?! It seems so rare to experience a fine art tutorial that is also well-shot, sound designed and creatively edited. I mean... it's a piece in itself and you're not just using pretty decent equipment, you're using it with some actual skill. Are you a jack-of-all-trades type of artist? Either way, all the effing kudos in the world to you. The production quality in this alone makes it so very much more interesting and it's very much appreciated.

      Masking fluid?

    • @bobbijolane367
      @bobbijolane367 6 ปีที่แล้ว +262

      Ayacyte yes, its a white liquid that comes in a little bottle with a fine tip, and you can use it to mask off any areas you want to keep white on your painting, or not let any paint get on while you are, for example, putting a light wash of color all over your page, or in certain areas. Then, when you are done, you just peel it off, and the masked area will be free of paint. If my explanation is not helping you, then I’m sure if you google it, you will see how to use it. 😊

    Honestly, I never knew I needed this guide since I've always had trouble finding colours that match or fit well together since I'm colourblind. This is why I've always drawn stuff in black and white. After so long I've just wanted to learn tones and depth but my disability just makes things awkward. No one's gonna see this lol but if she ever does see this, I just want to say thank you, really, thank you.

Ur piece was amazing, and now you make me feel like painting even though its 2am😂 off topic, but i was wondering if anyone has had problems with their necks while painting? i absolutelylove monochromatic artwork .. this was very informative.. I am an oil painter, trying to learn the art of watercolour. I find the hardest thing to remember is the lighter to darker tones because with oils it doesnt matter so much .. I am learning .. thank you so much for sharing x

    I know it's been a minute since the plagerizm incident but I just wanted u to know for the future that you do have rights. Lots of artists think that only rich & famous artists can get legal about their work and it's not true. Van Gogh steals your work? You legally can take him to the cleaners! You could take his other ear and put in a jar next to your easel for inspiration! Lol😂 Just sayin.... If something like that comes up again, let me know so I can help, ok?

      PearFleur One of the reasons Aries & Libra people get along so well is because they both have a common interest in justice and fairness. We Aries are just a little more passionate about it. So when there's an injustice, we won't hesitate to DROP KICK the degenerate party off of the Scale of Justice in order to bring things back in balance! 😂 Meanwhile, we're happy to let you to play good cop! Saw this, your first video, and immediately subscribed. Just WoW.
    And yes, most of the TH-camrs don't show peeling off the tapes or they skip it, but they don't know it's most satisfying thing to watch after the painting gets complete, to see those sharp colored edges on white canvas. You nailed it. Loved it.

    I came across this video when it was first released and thought, "wow, this is so beautiful and relaxing. I wish I could do like that" and it really inspired me to keep doing arts and the things I love.
    And here I am again, almost 4 years later stumbling across your channel for the second time. I may have stopped doing arts for a while but watching this video again makes me reminiscing all of the hopes and dreams that I used to have back then. Maybe when I'm strong enough, I'll greet arts again and make it all come true.
    Thank you for being you, you're really amazing and I hope you know that. Keep up the good works! Everything is very beautiful
