A great video... took a lot of inspiration from this, especially the bars for fitting the tent onto. I'm at the very early stages of a Penman trailer build... Subscribed!
Yes 270 awning looks nice , we found that traveling in Morocco we didn’t use an awning that much . If you set it up the sun always ends up on the opposite side of.
Hi will me partner told me to follow u great vid she works at mira any chance I could ask u to just check my electrics when u got 5 spare I need to get a charger from sure power but u have a smart charger I don't think I'm able think I need a ac to dc all the best
Hi , i presume your fitting 12DC electrics . do you have a separate battery (leisure) for your van conversion. If you do I would start with a isolated battery2 battery charger . This will charge your leisure battery when the starter battery is full from the engine’s alternator when the engine is running . Being isolated it won’t flatten the starter as the two batteries are NOT directly connected Next would be a smart charger (it’s intelligent and won’t cook the batteries) when powered from land line .
No mate I've done all 12 v sure power leaisre just missed out the bit charging the 12v when on sure so do I need a smart charger or a ac to dc charger I'm all set up but forgot that bit
@@Hudsonvanlife lets clarify. You have a 240v land line connection 12v van electrical running of a leisure battery . If above correct you need a 240 to 12v charger . P.

Glad you could get some Ben night from the video . Let’s see your build when ready
As your building from a ex mod trailer keep the chassis number plate , it makes insurance a lot easier as they will want date of manufacture
Nice set up, I was thinking along same lines, then wanted a 270 awning, too low on traler to fit one.

I would go for a smart charger , if you upgrade from lead acid batteries you won’t have to replace the charger.
Cheers mate ill order one
