There's something soothing about knowing it's pure boom for a decent interval before the chaos erupts.
It's very interesting how the mind of a pro as Hera and the mind of a LOL as myself work so different. The first thing that I think when I've seen 4 Khemer players was "they are going to cut with ballista elephants". So I found quite interesting that Hera did not see that one coming.

Lol, so true. I was thinking he was saying that kind of sarcastically considering he had not made a single military unit and had 3 cuts with 20-30 elephants coming in. *AND* he still had to onager cut in the middle of all that to raid back because he knew it was GG once he was in with his unstoippable army of hussars lol.

do you know how to do that? As the ingame settings cause everyones pop to change, is there a way to change the population limit of just 1 person?

I am only 7 minutes in atm, just after Hera realised turks don't have onagers, and I'm still wondering when it will click than full Khmer can cut with elephants in Castle age lol
You know, if they didn't cut in Castle Age and just boomed up a bit more they might've just steam rolled with 200 pop each. For some reason they played like it was an all-in Castle push for like 20 minutes while you were already in Imp. 11
You won against 4 players on a boom map. Pro or not, that's super impressive.
Well it's pretty easy to beat khmer the recipe is 30 onagers with meat Shield
Favorite part of the video is the 2 seconds of calm when placing down some houses, #Chefs kiss.

They should have gotten to 4X200 pop and then all attacked at once. I wonder how that would have gone.
Hera would’ve had such a great defense by that point tho. Not to mention he has the best bombard towers and cannons in the game… which are direct counters to the elephants. So they would’ve needed a shit ton of Calvary to even make a dent on hera
@@zachbalent1806 Honestly the trickle in 1 ram, 3 ele at a time is just a waste of res though. Blue's attacks were annoying but if he massed could have got some damage. He basically wasted all his military and the KD shows it. Was better off massing hussar for raiding or literally anything else than trickle in units.
Hera is fantastic, but if that happened he'd just be overwhelmed. Literally would be 1 vs 4 units, and there chonkers lol. Hera needs to kill quick in these

I don’t understand why no one went for Spanish or Persian (or Hindustani). It is kind of standard on Michi to go for at least one trading civ for the extra gold.

question : if you follow along the principle of 'every enem gives me 100+ pop', how do you balance your eco/army ? do you just kinda keep with the flow (as in before youd get pop capped in a normal game), or do you try to keep making vills forever and with a ratio of 2-3 out of 4 pop is vill, rest is army ?

i can beat 4 easy AI's any day 11, me vs easy ai should be a similar comparison to hera v4 700-1k elos@@gigis3350 by decent game i was rather gauging entertainment, kinda like how not every t90 video is a good one, since 90% of it depends on the game in the first place
In more pop games i just keep spamming vils and military past 200 pop, no gameplan atm

It's not all about a good camera to get nice picture it's also the settings and the most important, the lightning. I've been working with photography and video over 10 years and I'd be glad to help you to just fix small things to make it better :) All for free.

Had a nomad 8 player FFA yesterday.
Got wiped mid game against a Huns.
Ran off and rebuilt and I ended up winning in the end. Green run down grey (who is huns) I took revenge on grey but green was strong so I got him then grey came back was crazy as game. Took like 5 hours lol

I get the struggle to up quickly and rush kill few of Enemy team, playing vs Extreme AI as 5v2+Me and i have to kill off at least 1 of them very very early via tower rush or archer rush ASAP or we are dead in endgame with 200pop, i am not that amazing to play with more pop .. so i understand the difficulty that more pop is not always good then outnumbered and unless closed checkpoint maps
Voice is super clear but you need to be slightly higher volume compared to game sounds please. Those sheep are super loud

i think these 1vX also may get you into the big market of 'anything that isnt meta is fun', much like most t90 low elo legend games or community games with interesting settings.
hence i really like how you're diversifying the content, and think a right mix of high elo gameplays and 'more casual/entertaining games' like 1vX, weird settings, one-hand challenges or other challenges etc, i think that mix would cater to the largest variety of audience members there can be.
it brings me joy to see you get further, none of my merit tho 11

They could have waited till they had 800 Ballista Elephants and then attacked at once with steady stream of reinforcements streaming in. How on earth could any 1 player stop that.

It was just bad tactics. 2 should went khmer and went for cutting in castle age. And 2 should go another with bohemians or any other good post imp civ and boom hard. To make strong competive army before you left your small area of the map. Basically cannot loose.
I imagine this must of been pretty humbling 11, seems like it would be a good strat if all players didn't go for the exact same thing though

Would 4 Bengalis be better? Different players could have different army - BE, EA, Ratha and Monk.
In general having the same civ, when on the same team is a pretty bad idea because the team bonuses can be quite strong and when 4 players have the same civ all of them only get one bonus instead of four.
Basically they found only way to lose 4vs1 against Turks. Even if Khmer kinda bad on michi, it still doens't matter. If they reach 800 pop + trade - there is no win condition for Hera.
they thought they would be able to balista rush him, which woulda worked on most players, but not most 2.5k+ @@valger3652

You defeated yellow on autopilot with one treb, one bombard tower, and a bunch of hussars 😂
Also you forgot the turk unique imp tech which gives +2 range on bombard towers and cannons.

To be fair it’s the absolute worst strat they can go for. It cripples their economy, open the gates, and UU is easy to counter when there are few of them.
If they instead would all boom up and go 800pop elephants there would be nothing Turks could do to stop it.
