If things are slowing down in Miami-Dade county .... they will definitely slow down in Ocala.
"Crash" is a TBD. Let's circle back in Q4 2022.

I certainly don't see things slowing down around Ocala, Leesburg, Wildwood and vicinity. Most of the homes I save all seem to go pending or sold shortly after seeing them posted.

I wouldn't expect a real estate agent to say anything different. Of course housing prices will not go down.

3 months have passed, do you see further slow down in buying and selling situations in Ocala? I am debating in Ocala vs Tampa for my next rental, currently own in New Tampa. Last, do you buy for clients? thx

Things are still heading towards a more normal market here. We have a little over 2 months inventory available right now, instead of less than one month, and because buyers have more homes to choose from, homes are taking a little longer to go under contract than they were a couple of months ago. An average of about 11 days to contract in July, instead of the 8 days in June. But average home prices are still holding steady, actually going up just a tad from June's numbers. And yes, I do actively work with clients, both investors and homeowners. 😎
