Unicorn was a total plot twist for this channel! (Also, wow, but do I wish Final Cut Pro had snapping and other object manipulation and alignment capabilities like Canva!)
If you're using something like obs studio, you don't need a pro account for canva to get a transperant background, you can just crop it to the size in obs studio.
The transparent background lets viewers see what's underneath the image, which is a little different - but this is a great tip to make things fit, thanks! 🎉
Actually, I use Ecamm as my live streaming software (but you can use OBS, vMix, Streamyard, etc.) and only use Restream to multicast when I need more connections on a less powerful system or when I need more connections than I get with Ecamm. But Restream also offers a streaming tool for folks who prefer that.
@@LiveStreamingPros Sweet! I tried Ecamm but I had real troubles with my audio streaming from my music performance software. It would rally glitch my whole system out. But that was a few years ago now. Maybe it's better now. I did like the more elegant easy intuition system of Ecamm tho. ps love my lower third after using this video!
@@LiveStreamingPros Yes, I've been using Canva for a while now, but only for creating TH-cam thumbnails. Never really thought about it from an overlay point of view.
#Tip: People who don't have Canva Pro account can download Image and use Remove.bg like free websites to remove the background from the image. Thanks for this helpful video. I like the way your present this video.
If you are using a paid version of Canva, you do have access to the video background remover - however, there's still no WebM or other transparent video download option (yet?).
That's interesting! Didn't know the term derived from the golden ratio! I thought it was because of standard media having graphic occupy the "lower third" of the screen!

@@LiveStreamingPros yeah I know what you mean... I was just saying that thats another option.
This was SO good thank you! Why do you use ReStream rather than OBS? Any reasons?

Question! Can my lower thirds made in cabs be used for an ATEM system?
Yes, the Atem supports PNG, TGA, BMP, GIF, JPEG and TIFF files, which you can create in Canva!
Thank you!!!!!! 👏🏾
Thank you so much ❤

Yep, there are certainly alternatives out there, but one of the things we love about Canva pro is getting everything done in one place. 👍
@@LiveStreamingPros Yes, I also agree with that.
I love Canva!!!
It's so awesome, right?!?! ❤️
Can't do transparent background with video?

The term: Lower third: actually comes from the mathematics in art called the golden number , widely used by Michelangelo da Vinci

@@LiveStreamingPros screen , canvas, page, sky, point of view …… The better question is what came first the chicken or the egg.
