Yes Darren!!!! you are doing an excellent job of selling Canva to me with these videos - ive also been playing around in Keynote to create quick animations and then saving them as videos to use.
Outstanding video! I have been wanting to make a social media lower third and this video shows the easiest way! Keep up the great work! Never heard of a bacon butty.....
Thank you. Appreciate you watching, hope I can help you further with content. Just let me know if you have any questions and consider subscribing if you don’t already 👍🏻
Never heard of Bacon Butties...... I am from the US... I'm not sure they are here? I am trying to learn how to make a transparent lower third on my new TH-cam channel videos. Hopefully I can get that out in the next week. In love, adventure and health, Denise Chambers
I don't have one at the moment, but will add it to the list of videos I'm creating. You would generally create them in the same way, but scale them down to be a size that looks good on your vertical video. :-)
I love your videos! I have learned so much already (this is my 3rd video) and implemented what I've learned in my designs. By the way, is that your exclusive shirt? I would love to order one!
Hi Darren - thanks for the video - you made that really easy for me - I've used Canva for a while for thumbnails but for some reason never thought of using it for lower thirds. I used a 500 x 100 template to create some smaller graphics for a tips video so tip one, tip two etc. Is it wrong to say mayonnaise and chilli sauce with my bacon butty? 😂
Awesome. Always good to hear that I’m helping 😊 I quite like the sound of the Mayo and chilli sauce on a bacon butty, I’ll have to give it a go. I have a similar sauce with my pizza, but add English mustard in there too. 👍🏻
Hey Darren, This is Muhammet from Think Media IC. I like your video and thanks for the great tips. I also wanted to ask you, which software do you use to record your screen and keep your picture/video and the bottom right corner of the screen? thanks again :)
Yes you can. I don’t use Davinci, so can’t help you there. I have a video showing how it’s done in Final Cut Pro and would be the same for other editing software.
You lost me at 3:29 into the video with changing the background color. You did it so fast that I couldn’t follow. Maybe the difference in layout from recording to today. Mine is a paid version.
Hi, Thank you for letting me know. Let me see if I can help. The background colour can be any colour you want it to be, but when you export the image and select transparent background (you'll see this in your download options), the background will be see through. Hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any further questions. :-)
Here is the video on how to KeyFrame your lower thirds: Want to know how to Keyframe your Lower thirds: th-cam.com/video/t2Lm6QQZo28/w-d-xo.html
I finally figured it out. Thank you from North Carolina.
Glad it helped! I've a new video on this coming soon. keep an eye out for it.
Very helpful. You made it easy to learn
Thank you for watching. :-)

Bacon butties are the best. Unless you don’t eat meat 🙌 which is cool.
@@DarrenM We don't have those around here. I am an unapologetic carnivore. I'll ask my Brother-in-law about them. He's from Grimsby.
Omg this is what I have been looking for🙌🏽🙌🏽
Thank you for watching :-) Let me know if you need help with anything else and I'll put a video together for you.
Darren Meredith will do, New Subbie here💃🏽
Thank you I appreciate the support. It's helped me reach 100 today :-)
What the heck is bacon butty? Question... can this be edited in Windows Movie Maker? I have a dinosaur computer for now. Nice video!
Very helpful! Thanks!
Thank you for watching 😊

Rebecca Wood I’ll be doing it next week, make sure you have notifications on or subscribe to my email list :)
Soo needed this!!! Thank you!!

Hope my video helped. Let me know if you have any questions I’d be happy to help.
Nice Job Darren! I love Canva. I have not used it for lower thirds. I’ll give it a shot! You have also earned a sub!
Really good to use for lower thirds or any graphics you want on the screen. Will be making a tutorial on animating them on and off more.
Darren Meredith I’m using Davinci Resolve to edit.
This was super helpful! Thank you Darren! :)
Thank you for watching. Let me know if you have any questions.
do you have a video for creating lower thirds for vertical videos in imovie? that would really help me.

Thank you for watching. I really appreciate you. This isn't one of my designs, it's one I got from a company a while ago. :-) Awesome though isn't it.
@@DarrenMthank you for responding. Yes, it is an awesome shirt. Extremely inspiring.
Niceeeee. Do you have the video about key frames?
I do it is this one th-cam.com/video/t2Lm6QQZo28/w-d-xo.html :-)
Really enjoyed this tutorial! Not sure what a bacon sandwich has in it (besides bacon) BUT it has bacon so I'm a fan :)
Brown sauce is the best option. Or you can have a classic BLT, but that’s more a brunch than breakfast 😉
Darren Meredith I’m game 🤓

I’m using screen flow for screen recording on a Mac or you can use Quick Time. I like screen flow as I can sync up after.
Darren Meredith thanks for the reply 😊
how do you make the background black?
If you select it, you can then choose from the top corner. :) or draw a block and make that black. :)
What font are you using on the social media lower thirds?
I use a lot of Oswald.
great
Thanks. Be sure to keep an eye out for an update to this video coming next week.
Are you a bacon butty (sandwich) fan?
Im all about the red sauce though!
I guess it takes all kinds ;-)
Hi
Can we add these lower third effect to the davinci resolve 16 to edit the video ? Can you show me how to do it
Yes you can. I don’t use Davinci, so can’t help you there. I have a video showing how it’s done in Final Cut Pro and would be the same for other editing software.
I just came here for the Bacon Butties... which, I might add... I did not get.
🤣 I wish I could send some
Here’s my first video where I’ve created some lower thirds using your tutorial - th-cam.com/video/NbIWYrMnGoE/w-d-xo.html 👏🏻👍🏼
