I know Cory probably wont see this but.....dont listen to all the haters your a top bloke make me laugh and you do an immense job and an immense job with Reuben aswell iv been in the trade over 15 years and still find the content great and interesting as never done anything on EV or domestic only industrial stuff
As a maintenance manager on a private estate I had to deal with a lot of electrical contractors, long story short, I found a qualified German electrician, He was the best. He has worked for me for 25+ years, until he was diagnosed with MND last December, so no longer works. Give me a qualified trades person that will take his time to do his job right, and takes pride in his work. This is why I watch this channel, because of the craftsmanship. Craftsmanship is not so often seen theses days. So a big thank you guys.
Honestly cory out of all the sparks on TH-cam you lads teach and provide the best content by far! Im new to all this and look forward to every upload, don't pay attention to negative comments! A bitter sole is a lost sole and they will always be there. Keep up the good work!
Corey, please don’t worry about some or the mindless comments people have said. You guys at Artisan, Nick Bundy and Chris at CJR are a breath of fresh air - you will have helped numerous people in their electrical education. Its clear that you care about the finished product and anyone would feel comfortable with you working in their property. Sadly, the same can’t be said about a lot of people in the trade who are more interested in being jealous keyboard warriors.
Another brilliant video, Cory - please just ignore the negative comments, that's totally uncalled for! Please just block anyone that's being mean - as you say constructive criticism is totally different.
I wouldn’t watch any other sparky channel and that’s massively down to your approach and entertainment value Cory. Keep a note offline somewhere of all of your favourite positive comments so you can revisit them for a reminder of all the great work you do.
I'm hoping to start my apprenticeship next year an I hope I get someone like Corey because he is an excellent teacher I hope to be as good as Corey one day as he has inspired me
Love this channel and the banter you have with each other always learn something new. Negative people are the worst just exclude them from your thoughts
Congratulations Reuben, I missed your banter (not as much as Corey did). Don't let the haters grind you down, just think what sad individuals they must be.
I’m a first year electrical apprentice across the globe in Australia 🇦🇺 and I can say I’ve learned a tonne from everyone at Artisan, and especially you Cory. Don’t let the haters even occupy time in your mind, they’re not worth it.
As an American Sparky, I love watching your videos. It’s interesting to me to learn how things are done across the pond and see the differences in material and methods and products
Looks nice Cory, I also agree on the 90 degree bend thing. Faster, looks neater in many applications than 90 degrees, less room for failure. Good stuff. Haters will always be there, you just do you bro
Cory, I really enjoy your positive outlook and sense of humour. Sorry that you have had to deal with unpleasant comments, it is a sad downside of the internet - but there is so much good to outweigh it, if you can avoid getting worn down. I hope you can take heart from the overwhelmingly appreciative comments for this video. Love the jokes about missing Reuben btw, and great news that he has found a place at college. What a massive head start you have given him.
HI Corey ,you are a great guy soooo funny ,and you work to such a high standards run my own business fitting doors but find your vlogs really interesting ,i watch all of them.
Great work Corey. Ignore the haters . The rest of us really enjoy watching your Videos, they are entertaining and I know just how much extra work it is to make a video while you are working and trying to find the best way to install the charger and run the cabling . Love it and appreciate your work ethic
Cory, you have a great personality and a good jobsite manner. Excellent attention to detail and you're also pleasant to look at. Have that for unsolicited personal keyboard commentary.
I don’t get why you’re getting hate? I think it’s a credit to you that I watch these videos, primarily with the ones with you in because of your humour and how you are with Rueben and I don’t have a clue about your trade. If we liked you in Newcastle, you’re doing something right 👏🏼
You guys make great videos and its cool to see how different the electrical installations are over in the UK. Im in Gainesville, Florida. Im a 3rd year apprentice running my own service truck for a big electric company. Thanks for the great content. Keep it up!
I find you so entertaining Cory, i have no interest in electrics really, but your humour and approach to your work brings me here every single video and watching every second. If you weren’t part of artisan, i know i wouldn’t be watching. Please keep up the great work you know that you are doing!
Once you become a tall poppy Cory you get two types of followers. I guess it's human nature. Keep up the good work buddy, love your content. Hi Jordan and Ruban
14:48 I don't know the rules but I was told if an electrician spots something like that, that's deemed dangerous then they aren't allowed to just leave it, they have to fix it. Is that in the regs or is it just a "Can't leave it in good conscious"?
People who are keyboard warriors and bullies are the people who are jealous of the way you are living, you are 23 Cory and a fully qualified electrician who I imagine is on a brilliant wage for a 23 year old lad and is only getting better and better by the day. Ignore the hate and keep on earning a living mate 👍.
AFCI's (AFDD's there) here in the states are required for just about every circuit in a residential setting. Many of our newer boards have plug in neutrals as well now, so that when using AFCI and/or GFCI's there are no pigtails off each breaker. I do like using our combo AFCI/GFCI breakers. There can be from time to time some nuisance tripping from AFCI's when turning on a computer for example and the inrush current is at the peak of the sine wave. However they are normally not an issue and many modern AFCI's have "fixed" this issue.
Interesting. They are available but still optional (I believe, I'm not a qualified electrician) here in the UK. Seems as if they offer a really good fire safety benefit.
Where i live, the multitool is actually commonly known as a Fein saw. A lot of carpenters i've worked with might not have a clue what you're on about if you say multitool.
I think that you are right using grommet strips .I know some people that think that using grommets on sockets is optional, but I showed someone a cable that was put in a metal back box without grommets and it had cut into the insulation on the line and neutral and you could see the conductors,it was just luck that it didn't short out on the metal.
Kindness matters. There's nothing gained by making it personal. Sometimes we forget to think whether a throw away comment is going to ruin someone else's day.
Cory don't allow the negative comments to over shadow your outstanding work. Like you said "we are all human and forget things" but this does not make any of us out to be idiots. I follow a lot of people on you-tube and your NOT the first and certainly will not be last to receive abusive negative comments. Just do not bother giving these idiots any airtime. Like you said if its a constructive critic then we can all learn by it and move forward. For what my opinion is worth I think all of you at Artisan Electrics do a brilliant job and I would not hesitate calling you in if there was something I could not do myself.
Mate, ignore the idiots out there. You and all the crew do a fantastic job, and it’s no wonder why the channel is so popular. Unfortunately, social media gives these pathetic individuals a voice, which no one wants to hear!
Nice clean work friend. I see you have the same problem of finding good help to show up everyday and bringing there “A” game. In the States, Connecticut specifically, it’s so difficult to find good mechanics and even harder to find quality apprentices. I’ve enjoyed your video and admire the professionalism.
You mention that you would like that property to have an EICR. I had an electrician come to me to put an external socket, but refused until he had done the EICR
Your work, Cory, is always good quality with an eye for the detail that matters. The CU installation, on the other hand, is just crap in every way.. Do you not get the opportunity to view the installation before taking on the job required?
Fein (pronounced fine) is arguably the best power-tool manufacturer. Holes in metal boxes even with very smooth edges can still be a problem as the metal is harder than the insulation, & will wear it away; unless the cable is securely fastened.
Good to see that you are so thorough and it was very lucky you found that burnt out connection in the board. Must admit that I am not a great fan of electric cars as living in Australia I don't think that apart from living in urban areas they are a viable option considering the distances out here. Having said that it is good to see that you have an apprentice😉
Unless those little silica packs are in a fairly small SEALED bag/box they won't last more than about 15 minutes in terms of moisture absorption once they get saturated they need drying out in an oven. A VCI corrosion inhibitor would likely work better and for longer.
Im not a leccy but like to watch and learn. I would happily have any of you chaps in my home to do work. The work and quality ethic displayed by you is great and set by your boss from early days on you tube. As far as rudeness goes.. Billly Connolly summarised the modern world by saying " - Och! theres not enough smacks in the gob" . Keyboard warriors mate, not worth your trouble or time of day. PS, im 67 and used to have a 6 pack but now its very slim (wishes) no its a pod...
What is it with not checking the connections, I was taught to check the cable after tightening. Also I think this should be in the regs that the DB should not be in a cupboard like that.
Hoovered the driveway, nice... I hoovered part of a school playground once after a job, got laughed at alot. It does seem weird when you hoover outside.
Great channel. Very informative and entertaining. However, I am puzzled about something. Despite telling us that 90° bends are bad, the cable run around the building has several of them.
Completely ignore the negativity you guys are doing a great job attention to detail, quality installations but I also like the fact you are honest where sometimes because of limitations you can only go so far. Yes you guys need to do an AFDD board and test it out…
Best thing to do with Trolls is completely ignore them. Even deleting their comments gives them some satisfaction. Just treat them with the contempt they deserve. Do not give them the oxygen of recognition and they will die away! Great content as always.
Worried how you knew I came across the channel while on the toilet. Really enjoy the videos. Don’t tell the boss but much prefer the Cory/Reuben double act.
Hey Cory another cracking vid.. your a great spraky.. great teacher and a fantastic entertainer.. your work ethics is amazing keep up the great work.. from a fellow sparky down under.. cheers stay safe John
Coming for you too Corey 💪
Haha 😆
I immediately regret this decision 😂
I know Cory probably wont see this but.....dont listen to all the haters your a top bloke make me laugh and you do an immense job and an immense job with Reuben aswell iv been in the trade over 15 years and still find the content great and interesting as never done anything on EV or domestic only industrial stuff
He can see how these people who realy put there selves out there eg love island or whatever feel as they must get crazy online haters
Must be shit though being a spark and having to act up on the camera all the time. Unless you’re getting paid a lot more of course
congratulations to Reuben to getting his apprenticeship collage cores under way
As a maintenance manager on a private estate I had to deal with a lot of electrical contractors, long story short, I found a qualified German electrician,

Corey haters gonna hate mate, keep doing what you’re doing and leave the trolls to their lonely existence.
Someone was mean to dear Corey?
Honestly cory out of all the sparks on TH-cam you lads teach and provide the best content by far! Im new to all this and look forward to every upload, don't pay attention to negative comments! A bitter sole is a lost sole and they will always be there. Keep up the good work!
I just about died when the ‘treat’ fell off the end of the measuring tape.
Cory love your sense of humor. You look marvelous. You are apparently eating the right amount.
Well done Reuben on getting on course. Perhaps Reuben could do an interview style video with one of you on how to get a good apprentice.
Corey, please don’t worry about some or the mindless comments people have said. You guys at Artisan, Nick Bundy and Chris at CJR are a breath of fresh air - you will have helped numerous people in their electrical education. Cory mate, you are AWESOME! Forget the haters, you MAKE THIS CHANNEL!!
Cory and all at Artisan Electrics, I enjoy the videos and appreciate you making them for us.
Ignore the haters, you will always get them.
Making a mistake in this trade is so natural and common it’s a hard job and everyone’s human.
Love the banter between you and nick bundy 🤣🤣😂😂. Cory always delivers a good video.
Ignore the negative comments your works really neat.
I'm hoping to start my apprenticeship next year an I hope I get someone like Corey because he is an excellent teacher I hope to be as good as Corey one day as he has inspired me
I love how the loft route was only a passing thought without Reuben there ☕️🐸
😊😊
Ha-ha standard 🤣
Corey - never change! Love all your vids, keep em coming 🙌🏻
Love this channel and the banter you have with each other always learn something new. Negative people are the worst just exclude them from your thoughts
Congratulations Reuben, I missed your banter (not as much as Corey did). Don't let the haters grind you down, just think what sad individuals they must be.
Well done Reuben! Well deserved mate!
Corey and Reuben make an absolutely awesome duo - Keep up the good work lads!
The amount of love you received compared to the hate.......... well you know people luv you man.
I’m a first year electrical apprentice across the globe in Australia 🇦🇺 and I can say I’ve learned a tonne from everyone at Artisan, and especially you Cory. Don’t let the haters even occupy time in your mind, they’re not worth it.

Hey up Corey. Loving the channel. I got one of those wera kits... Lovely. What's the grab bag you use? Thx
Looks nice Cory, I also agree on the 90 degree bend thing. Faster, looks neater in many applications than 90 degrees, less room for failure. Good stuff. Haters will always be there, you just do you bro

where is this hate?
Cory, you have a great personality and a good jobsite manner. Excellent attention to detail and you're also pleasant to look at. Have that for unsolicited personal keyboard commentary.
Congratulations Reuben hope all goes well!!
Cory is such a funny guy, such an OCD perfectionist which is even funnier, I smell his own TV channel coming
I don’t get why you’re getting hate? I think it’s a credit to you that I watch these videos, primarily with the ones with you in because of your humour and how you are with Rueben and I don’t have a clue about your trade. If we liked you in Newcastle, you’re doing something right 👏🏼
Cory you make me laugh and you are a very good electrician as well. Keep them coming 👏👏👏
Well done Ruben 👏👏 also dont take any notice Cory about all the hate, your a great guy n great teacher to Ruben
Keep up the good work Cory & all

Corey i actually started watching this channel due to you as im not a fan of Jordan, but you and Ruben make a good team.. Nick & Adam 2.0 :-D
Cory keep up the good work. Good luck Reuben with your college work.
The quality of your videos get better and better. Do you have a full time camera man now? Very cool. You should get a TV show on discovery :-)
That's great news to see him at college, glad he found a place

Hope Nathan enjoy his travelling / holiday break. And all the best to Reuben!! 👍
Funny brother, I am an Electrician and my name is Cory and my company is Artisan Crafts and Electric (ACE) .
The name of legends!! You sound like a top fella!!! 😉😜
People making nasty comments are simply displaying jealousy. Jealousy is the reflection of their failures in life, not yours. Keep being you.
People who are keyboard warriors and bullies are the people who are jealous of the way you are living, you are 23 Cory and a fully qualified electrician who I imagine is on a brilliant wage for a 23 year old lad and is only getting better and better by the day. We need more companies to be offering proper apprenticeships to train our tradespeople of the future 👍👍
Good jobs and videos. Well done!
Cory keep doing what you are doing we enjoy it. Well done Reuben getting into college
I‘m German and thought I could help you out, how to pronounce Fein … but how? 😅
10:35 is spot on, between your two „Fähn“
Great content! Huge fan from Denmark!
I find you really funny and entertaining in these videos Corey. Forget the negative comments the videos are awesome and fun!
I think that you are right using grommet strips .I know some people that think that using grommets on sockets is optional, but I showed someone a cable that was put in a metal back box without grommets and it had cut into the insulation on the line and neutral and you could see the conductors,it was just luck that it didn't short out on the metal.

18:56 Look at the loose earth in that 2way connection
What is the attachment at the bit end on the drill at 6:50?

Their multi-tool is what they are most famous for everything else personallyI would take Hilti for the rest.
1:45 What table is that?

Not a sparky but isn’t there specified bend radius for each cable type 🤔🤔
Awesome video - thanks guys

Great news that Reuben has a college placement 👌👌 you’re the man, Cory - ignore the nasties, you are a great guy 😃👌👏👏👏❤️

Can't get enough of the Nick Bundy references! 😂
Can anyone tell me what the name of them fixings hes using to fix the SWA to the wall are? Thanks
Very entertaining video.... thank God Ruben is ok 😄
Hey Cory another cracking vid.. your a great spraky.. great teacher and a fantastic entertainer.. your work ethics is amazing keep up the great work.. from a fellow sparky down under.. cheers stay safe John
Ignore the haters. One of my favourite channels and love the banter between you and Ruben 😆
That fein kit looks good 👍 pretty sure they invented the multitool.
