Agreed. The prolific Jersey Devil is one of my favorite tomatoes for canning sauce. Much better than San Marzano and Amish Paste. Pineapple is also a favorite here in zone 7a/b. They are large and if you smell the flower end of a ripe Pineapple tomato, it actually smells like a pineapple. Are you going to make chili powder? Thanks for sharing!
Yay! So glad to "meet" another Jersey Devil lover. They have won my heart! I will have to sniff the pineapple tomatoes this year :) And yes! I'd love to attempt some chili powder. Depends on how many chilis we get!
