Love the Aberlite Go! I like either one. The wired ones I don’t mind at all and they are a sure fire back up when I forget to charge my Go.
Well said, I agree! If I had to only keep one... I think I would go with cord
my aberlite go died after 8 months of use....the warranty dept said that its not meant to be used regularly, but intended to be a travel brush. You also cant use it when its plugged in, so once the batteries go its all over. Luckily they let me turn in my dead Aberlite Go for a corded Pro....dont make my mistake, just get the Pro!
Whoa! First I have heard of any of that. Great to know. Thank you for the feedback
Ya know, that is just brilliant! Wish I thought about.
I’ve had a heated brush now for almost 7 months and have never tried it on it’s lowest setting...🤣 DUH!! That is such a great idea!!
If you don't want it super straight, that's the way to go!
I have the Aberlite Pro with a cord and really like it. I picked it over the cordless one, because I felt the cordless one would be more vulnerable to a failure, where the Pro with a cord seemed to be more solid.
First thing I noticed (besides your legendary beard) is the awesome background lighting.. I like it, it’s a little change of scenery if you will...
Thanks for another awesome video! I just got a blow dryer i was thinking about getting a heated brush soon. Thanks again
Awesome! Let me know if you snag one
I will for sure!
Thanks for posting these heated brush videos. I funded the Aberlite kickstarter you promoted a few weeks ago, so I'm anxious to get my Aberlite Pro and see. I'm wedded to corded products for grooming after having had too many cordless ones die on me, so I probably won't be going the cordless route anytime soon. I've never been a big fan of the heated brush before, but I think, given your info and techniques, that I might see some good use from it now that I'm finally past the 6" mark with a decent amount of volume.
Rise And Shine Beardows!
Time to get it!
I prefer cordless by far. I occasionally knock something in the sink or floor with the cord. Just a fan of cordless!!! Good video👊
The sink knockdowns are for real!
Ive been considering a cordless heated brush, i like the idea for travel, going to out of state competitions or just getting the beard in shape on the go.
Message if you are around GB tomorrow! I still have you covered 👊 your pick of corded or cordless
Good video for comparing corded vs cordless. I’m still using my corded Vikicon but am VERY aware of where things are in and around the sink. Definitely can see advantage on cordless in that regard however if I keep spending money I’m going to be in hot water with the missus. Lol. If mine goes out I’ll probably purchase a cordless brush though. Have a great week Dan!!
Great point! I have taken down many things with my cord
1st! I prefer wired... both of my wireless kushbars don’t get as hot as the wired. So I get done quicker with OG wired version.
The GOLD! that makes a lot of sense, I agree!
I believe its a word......I only have a corded one and luckily my plug is right right on the front edge of the sink to the left so it doesn't knock things over but a cordless one is more convenient most cordless things are also I haven't really used mine since my beard has gotten longer Thx Dan nice Job I alwwys enjoy your videos
My plug is right next to the sink too!
Well the new cordless does seem like a pretty big upgrade compared to this one. I just found if you add the PRO you can use code pro15 for 15% off. The code off10 for fathers day also still works for the GO 2 for 10% off. The site says it was through June 18th, but it still works.
Big time upgrade!
@@DanCBearded Just how it looks and functions seems to be better. Definitely not saying the first one is bad, its just cool to see how improved the new one is.
Dude, love the new red light
Thank you! I am obsessed lol it is a wand light
It feels like mike cordless one takes so long to heat up. My corded one heats up super quick so I like that aspect of it. I also like not having to worry whether it has enough battery left.
You are not the only one, great point!
Good to see you without a cap 👍🏻
Have to let it breathe some times!
So funny you just made this video. My Aberlite Go is on the charger after a failed attempt to use it yesterday. Honestly I am really disappointed in the battery life. I understand it needs alot of battery to heat up the brush. But sometimes I can only use it 2 or 3 times before having to charge it. I think if I was to make a purchase again I would save the extra cash and go with old reliable "corded".
Good to know and wild timing!
Yeah I just finally started working and I do swing shift now and so I have to wear a mask at all times and I work with metal fabrication and I tell you what my beard gets all jacked up I could really use one of those I'm going to have to look that up
This would help!
@@DanCBearded definitely I just started a new job and it is tough on my beard so I'll try to take care of it those face masks don't help
Man i love that new mix of the song! I love the look of the video!! Great job!!👍 do u find those heated brushes damaging to ur beard? Also are you gonna pop off that keratin products video??
Or maybe it's because the song is extended either way I like that final beat!! Adds all kind of flare!!
I have never felt damage when using them. You just have to know what you're doing.
I have the keratin video idea written down, but timetable or plans yet
@@DanCBearded Id love to see it!👍
Good food for thought. Me beard is only at 4" so far so have not tried one but have started thinking about one in the future so I will be curious what feedback you get. I will add a question, at what length of beard would a heated brush start really being a benefit? I have started hitting mine with a hair drier about once every 1 or 2 weeks when it gets wonky.
I think heated brushes are even more so for shorter beards! It can make a world of a difference for styling. I have seen benefits with short business beards
I bought the same cordless aberlite but i don't use it much. I thought i'd use it more but don't really like how it makes my beard look. I'll have to try the lowest heat setting though. Haven't done that yet.
I like the lowest heat setting for styling because it doesn't leave it as straight
@@DanCBearded So i just followed your advice and wow! Game changer. I love how it looks and feels. You never fail to deliver great info. Thanks man!
@@jackiemanuel that's fricken awesome!
😗oh I love the new background!! How did you do that?
Thank you! I bought a light wand and have it shining up behind me
Dan C Bearded 🙂oh cool.
Neither is going to break the bank. With that in mind, I like cordless because I WILL sweep everything off the counter! Not the best way to start your day in a positive light. And as you say... you gotta STAY POSITIVE!
Haha so true! I have taken down small villages with a cord. If you are needing one of these, just shoot me a text 👊
First, i have with cord but can imagine that cordless has it's positive situations where you might need no cord
True true! Certainly sometimes where a cord gets in the way
Great video , just subscribed following a recommendation from a beard club I'm in. Are these able to buy in the UK ? if so do you have a link ? Had a quick look and didn't find much tbh. Keep up the great work 👍
I use a corded brush from Amazon that I've had for a year (I think Scuba posted a link). It is fine for occasional use, so I probably won't get a cordless one.
Corded brushes are reliable!
Aberlite GO or Kuschelbär pro Cordless? Which one would you go with?
Kushelbar for that. Aberlite pro for corded
Ok do you prefer cordless or cord?
Or which beard straightener do you think is the best right now?
Quick question, should I apply some water or oil before doing this? (on the low setting) Or just go with what I have already put in beard that day?
If it is later in the day (like after work) apply some oil first. If it is the morning, then go water and then oil 👊
Dan C Bearded sweet! Thanks
Aberlite go vs kuschelbar pro cordless, which is better?
I would say aberlite for bigger beards and kushelbar for shorter beards
@@DanCBearded is the kuschel bar not good for medium sized beards??.
It is perfectly fine for medium beards.
@@DanCBearded thanks
To me at least for the ones that I have a negative to the cordless is it takes longer to heat up. Could just be the one that I have though 🤷🏻♂️
I think that seems to be true. Less direct power, so it makes sense
I don’t have a heated comb/brush.
What type of mask do you wear?
👊 amzn.to/31uCXUU
I've always stayed away from the cordless because I thought they would be less effective. Does this brush heat up as fast and does it get as hot? Would love to know before I buy.
I am finding out the cordless versions (I have ones from multiple companies) do not seem to get as hot or heat up as quickly
@@DanCBearded I've bit the bullet and bought one. It has to be better for a guy who travels a lot 🤞
@@Bigsaxas absolutely!
My mustache is finally full and big enough that I have to wipe it when drinking coffee. Woo! 😂
If you drop the brush, that cord being plugged in may very well save your brush from breakage.
I have just the corded one. Been thinking about aberlite, but maybe when this one dies :p
It is sounding like most people are preferring the corded. Realible and heats is quicker
Sink full of water....corded and plugged in....slippery fingers?
You DON'T want to drop it!
Lol.....great vid. Thanks!
Haha sounds risky!
Great vid
Thanks!
Corded all the way.
More consistent and accurate heat settings. As the battery starts to fade in the cordless heat brushes (and yes they will fade, and often times fade fast, as they use cheap batteries) you’ll get very wonky, and very inconsistent heat from it.
Often times the corded will be cheaper than the cordless (as cordless is considered a premium). Plus, the corded brushes will last longer, give you more consistent heat longer, and are just safer for your beard. Last thing you want is to turn on your cordless brush a year after you got it, put it on low setting, and then brush your beard and realize you just blasted it with max heat.
Go corded fellas. And as always.... you get what you pay for.
Agreed to the fullest! Kind of like ethernet vs wifi?
Dan C Bearded 100%.
