    DANG, IT WORKS! I’ve had my chain kinked for over 10 years. I have attempted to unlink it off and on for 10+ years and was never able to unkink it. I did put some coconut oil on it to lubricate and wiggled away! Stunning that it worked! Your brilliant!

    Dude you just saved me over 8000 dollars. I have a fat 11mm herringbone that got kinked and I took it to the Jeweler and he pretty much told me im SOL. Been in the drawer for over a week and I just came across this video. Worked a f***ing charm.
    Seriously from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

    I can't thank you enough! I had tried everything and nothing would untangle my necklace. After I watched your video I kept shaking it and almost gave up. I decided to reverse the way I was hanging it and after a couple of times of shaking it from each end all of a sudden the links fell into place! It makes so much sense that the links will fall into place like they eventually did! Again THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

    Hi B Parsons! After unkinking this way, is there a slight dent (even if barely noticeable) in the 'flow' or shine of the chain where the kink was or is it perfectly smooth all the way?
    PS. I don't YET own a herringbone, I'm still undecided about whether to risk it, but your method gives me hope!

    • @BParsons
      @BParsons  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have had my herringbone chain for over 30 years. I have kinked it many times, sometimes quite severely. This method has always worked to unkink it. Sometime a link will have a slight dent or bow, but that is easily fixed by laying the chain in a hard, flat surface and lightly tapping on it.
