I've found that hobbies help me when I'm feeling down. For me it's chainsaw therapy, either just running one or tinkering with one helps distract me and often I have a better day. Music always is there for me like a faithful dog, it doesn't matter what time it is, doesn't matter if...Music is Always there ready, I ask myself what sounds good now? I find it on TH-cam and listen. I do this until I'm better. Works every time so I truly hope you find what helps you get past this. I hate it alot but it's my fight too so don't feel alone. Remember, this too shall pass, one day at a time...

I had a minor powersaw injury today on my leg (7 stitches), ironically the first time I wasn't wearing safety chaps. It it great to see you (almost fully) healed and back in the bush. My order of hoodies and shirts came fast to CT, and I can't wait to order some handles (and a bullet or 3). God bless!

dang his saws are rippin! Thanks for the positivity BBR. I took down a dead ash tree here in Northern IL today. Kids are on spring break so they helped get it bucked and split and stacked. Still having some cold nights so we are keeping the wood stove rockin to save on propane.

I know the feeling when you have done awesome with your filing and sawing! I cut same sized trees with 13"bar and Husqvarna 435 (really small saw) and It still cuts birch, pine and fir like butter. I just Lolled (laughed out loud) alone when everything went as planned.

Is there a tune or mod to get the 500i to start in high gear? I have a bark box and a max flow, however I live at 7,500' and for the first 10 minutes of running my 500i it seems like a much smaller saw, then suddenly it comes alive. I'm trying to get it to wake up sooner, any advise?
That drop over that garden was nothing less than incredible...95 percent of tree guys I know would have climbed that one..4 percent would have hit the shed...lol....are you lucky or just incredibly annointed? I'm thinking the ladder
