He was jealous of competition that didn't exist. I fell in love with him and never looked back. Never entertained the thought of anyone else. Was never with anyone else in any kind of way. I walked away and gave him space because he was obviously entertaining others. He never made time for me. Then he left. I held on for years. I’m still love them too, there was never any competition, I was just afraid to put my heart out there because of their complicated situation. I loved them after the first conversation we had.
He did he get someone else pregnant. He's a partyer and drinker. He didn't give a damn who he hurt to get what he wanted. He'd send me deep love songs (music was a big part of our connection), he had a hard time expressing himself and I understood that but his actions never matched so I consider him a liar and trickster. He had a crappy childhood, really bad, and he's been depressed forever. I tried to be a shoulder for him, not just lovers but a friend and adviser. We've known each other since we were young teens. I understand how he feels about himself internally, but it's not an excuse for how he treats people. One of the last songs he sent started with "I just want to be loved, I just want to be seen". It just seems one woman and pure love aren't ever going to be enough for him.

Freed myself officially last night. We both said what we needed to say. It was sad and heartbreaking but it’s for the best. We brought out the worst in each other. Lots of mirroring and shadow work which we both learned so many lessons from. Letting go with so much gratitude, grace and love.

oh gosh...this message is for me. I left him in December because he refused to work on our problems, then we got back together in february and he left me saying he no longer found me attractive and that he didn't miss me when I am not around. Then he appeared again on his birthday with a red rose and disappeared again. Then I tried to reconnect multiple times and he refused very harshly.
