The Mastadon is one of my personal favourite vehicles from both a lore and design standpoint. Never played one on tabletop though
I disagree with you. Let me explain. That is not a "vehicle". That's a "bunker complex mounted on tracks".
If i recall correctly It was a Land Raider of the Crimson Fists that got really angry during the invasion of their homeworld that i don't Remember the name of

Yeah it was called Rynn's Might.During the battle of rynn's world the machine spirit got pissed because it's crew got killed and the fortress monastery was destroyed, so it killed a bunch of orks and overcharged it's engine and detonated when the warboss tried to capture him.

Ah, the Big Chungus of Tanks series rolls ON.
The fact that the Mastodon is one of the grandest Super-Heavy models ever, on top of already being a Space Marine upgrade to Guard or Navy versions, ensures this gorgeous terror on tracks top favoribility. A lot of Melta meltin'.
The Spartan is no slouch, either - the ultimate oversized ferry to the God-Emperor's glory, treading the Imperial truth over the heretical skulls of humanity's enemies.

Great video I know the Spartan is coming out in the new Horus Heresy but it GW brings the Mastodon to the game it will be pretty interesting to see how it be played in both 30k and 40k great video G.D.M. as always.

Honestly, my favourite Astartes vehicle is... the Land Speeder. Fast, absurd firepower for it's size and speed, transports a small Astartes strike force, quiet, comes in absolutely ludicrous amounts of variety, can even function as a low altitude light gunship. Amazing little thing. What, is it that obvious that the Raven Guard is my favourite legion/chapter?

I still don’t like how there is NO INFORMATION on the origins of the Corvus Blackstar Dropship used by the Deathwatch!!!!! It’s design looks like something that would have been utilized during the Great Crusade Era!!! Is there truly NO INFO on how and when it first came to be?????????
