  • Positive Ease in knitting is one of the most confusing things. There's so much more than just how much ease your knitting in your garment.
    Every person is different - especially when the knitting pattern calls for a large amount of positive ease. If you're busty or more full figured, you might not want that much positive ease. Knitting the right size starts by understanding how what positive ease is and how much you like in garments you are knitting In this live broadcast we'll talk about fit and ease and how to ensure your oversized sweater fits you the way you like it.

    This is very helpful! I have several sweaters (cardigans) that do not work for me and I am heartbroken because I spent so much money on the yarns and so much time knitting! I sure wish you were in my area (s.w Pittsburgh). 💖

I have a membership site where women from all over the country are making beautiful sweaters that fit perfectly. It’s a virtual community, and all of the live lessons are recorded so you can go back and watch whatever you like! I would love to help you start making sweaters you adore!

    I get confused with the actual language of positive ease and finished garment in patterns.

      It can be very confusing-did you have a particular example of a pattern where the language is tricking you up?

    If a pattern states the finished garment has 5-10 cm ease built into the pattern does that mean you would pick your normal size

    • @CrazyForEwe
      @CrazyForEwe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Evelyn! When a pattern is written to indicate how much ease is built in, it typically includes the words “to fit size”. That would mean that you would pick your normal size, assuming you want 5 to 10 cm of ease. Thanks so much for watching the video, and for taking the time to comment. Please give the video a thumbs up if it helps you, and I’d love to have you as a subscriber😀

      Go down a needle size. Are you on 11s? Try a 7mm
