Good question, RFID can minimize/reduce the risk of book theft/theft, but no system is 100% foolproof. Camera surveillance can reduce the tearing and ripped off the books. I hope my answer make sense to your question.

Many universities use barcodes and QR codes to verify the title and other information where self-check-in checkout exists. The Password can be used. It will complicate the layer if self-check-in and checkout are not existing in the library. Feel free to email me [e-mail] If you need a detailed explanation about the security password.
