I got it over the weekend. It's been great. I've been testing it going between Steam, Xbox, PS5 and Switch. Only issue I've seen with it on switch is that it forgets that I've been enabled, and I need to reboot the switch and restart to get it back. It's almost worth getting a switch to have it processing ingredients as you get on with other stuff!
When it comes to the Playstation situation, I can almost guarantee Sony charges devs for the cross gen saves. Originally, when upgrading from PS4 to PS5, it was as fluid as it could be, but that disappeared earlier this year. Likely because this cross save feature was nearly ready for launch(or BETA in this case).
With cross save I have only been able to access my ships etc from expeditions. I have it on xbox and and Steam. I did not get the ship on xbox. from the vendor and had to sell it to myself. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks.
OK now that you have the Starborn Phoenix over to you Switch through cross-save (nice to know it works!), can you load it into one of your other saves that is NOT cross-save enabled?
Pretty cool especially for a game like this where you might want it on a PC, console and handheld. I have to say that cross save is one thing Ubisoft has been getting better doing. Still not as seamless as Xbox Play it Anywhere though.
I'm not really excited about light no fire until I see Hello Games begin to pay attention to details... there's so many "old" bugs that just seem to get ignored... like the corrupted images when you scan things... Just as an experiment I bought NMS on GGG and installed it on a brand new laptop... not connected to my steam in any way and in a new savegame the corrupted scan images immediately showed up... untill they get to grips with details like that, I don't want to see LNF
It likely depends on the mod. If you want to test with your specific mods, make a backup of your save, disable the mods, then launch the game for testing.
this is good news! I got into No Man's Sky on my computer and I was thinking about downloading the version for Switch - now that I'm going to visit my family for Christmas - crossplay would be great! A question for people who played it on Switch, is this version good?
Nice to see HelloGames continue to support No Man’s Sky after all these years!

I registered when it was first announced between my switch & xbox but still no room available, hopefully it won't be stuck in beta for ages 😢
I'm just curious with games that have mods on pc. What will happen when transfered to console.

I want fallout 76 to have cross saves
So does Phil Spencer, CEO of Xbox… and they own Bethesda now, so one has to wonder if he’s been putting the screws to em about it
I want elder scrolls online to have cross saves
