It’s crazy how u guys could find new oem parts. I just finished restoring a 95 db8. Some weather strippings have been discontinued. I had to resort to junk yards, and just had to use the nicest pieces i can find.
Is literally a brand new car- every single last part is brand spanking new, every bolt, fastener and washer- NEW- snaps into place solidly for the first time. This Civic is literally being reborn!!! Incredible! 🤙🏼😊
I am restoring my 2000 EM1. I worked on the Engine, changed calipers, breaks and rotors. I have a new Yonaka Full Catback Exhaust with 4 in 1 JDM Type R Header as well ready to be installed. Curently now its being fully repainted to its original black pearl color. Its a Civic Heist project with a Wings West Avenger Full Body Kit and original Veilside Kombat Dual Deck Spoiler and original rear taillights. The 17" Axis Neos are arriving next week . The exterior window and door seals are being fully replaced. From there I am going to work on the interior and as I can see the parts are difficult to find, this will be very challenging
I’ve been collecting several trim pieces and parts for my GSR to do a similar project in the future, when I have a chance to respray it again. Won’t be to this level but I’ll do the best I can. Even got a set of those MITA quarter windows coming.

No point. Those inner dash frames get flash rust the second they come off the assembly line. It’s just surface rust, not visible and won’t harm anything.

That CRX paint video must of been the one that should have been uploaded first haha. Great job guys, it takes time doing videos and restoring vehicles.

You should of dynamite the back dash and the doors and put speaker foam in front and behind the speakers 😊 Thoes Pioneer 6×9 and you should of went with a nice set of Pioneer component 6 1/2 speakes on the doors Will perform well with A nice 4 Channel Pioneer amplifier. Thoes 6×9 will give out plenty of bass without a subwoofer . Because it looks like your keeping a factory look. Pioneer has nice small amplifiers that would go good underneath the seat or underneath the back dash...

Yes, I ask because I've tried a bunch of stuff from epoxy to specific adhesives for glass to plastic and nothing lasts very long. The stuff from Honda lasted about 20 years before it failed!@@ahcgarage
Why did you replace the steering wheel rather than have a new leather wrap stiched on? love the build.... so jealous! How much did it cost you in total and what do you think the labor hours were?

Curious why you didn’t sand blast or co2 blast all the rust off that dash assembly. But maybe that’s my OCD.

Some of the parts are still available at Honda. We planned a few years collecting parts before we started this project
11 yrs ago, I included a brand new set of original floor mats when I sold my EM1. Can't imagine what that set would go for today.
