Thank you very much, dear Kings of France, for the best presentation! It’s always so exciting to listen to the stories about the European royalty. They are so interesting in exactly your presentation!
Not only your videos are well documented and told. But also it's a reminder of the conditions of women at the time, but also how they were all married by force at a very young age.
Agreed. The lives of women those days were not easy. They were a commodity used for political gain most of the time and often lived miserable lives because of it.
Her daughter Elisabeth Alexandrine Mademoiselle de Sens inherited the money and properties of Louise Françoise Mademoiselle du Maine (daughter of Louis Auguste Le Duc De Maine)
My family tree goes up to someone named Francois Clovis Chapois/Chapoy Married to a Petra Devaux from Lyon,Meuse,Lorraine so this seems interesting Two of his sons named Augustin and Felix Lyon/Leon
@UV LEO there is no way you could be a descendent of Le Duc de Maine because none of his 3 kids left any progeny but I would not be surprised if you are descendent of Louise Françoise Mademoiselle de Nantes

Hi Michelle ! No snow here, we haven't had much this year and we're slowly headed towards spring (I don't mind much). Rani's doing fine but I do have a check up scheduled for her on Tuesday to make sure. Will you give sweet Benjamin a cuddle for me ?

Thank you again for this video. It was very informative with nice pictures! I'm so sorry I have not commented but it's difficult to find other things to say than that I love your every document. 🙈🥰
Thanks I find these names and videos so interesting. Especially since my ancestors names were very similar Francois Clovis Chapois Two sons Augustiń and Felix Lyon Sister Elizabeth I know nothing of my family with the Chapoy Name but I feel like it ties into France or somewhere close . Ty ❤️🔥
Given how many illegitimate kids the French kings had, I bet it’s harder to _not_ be descended from French royalty if you have any blood ties to Western Europe lol
I do believe Louis Le Grand Dauphin was closest to Louise Françoise out of all his siblings she was a leading member of Caballe de Meudon Le Grand Dauphin used her palace as a love nest
Thank you Nieke, superb research and presentation as always, so much scheming went on in the court in those days.
Thank you as always Simon !
@@TheKingsofFrance Thank you Nieke, my plesure.
Great video. Gossip and scheming was the order of the day at the court. She lived a good long life.

Thank you very much for watching !
Athenais definitely did well for her children. She was definitely my favourite of Louis XIV’s mistresses
Thanks for watching.
Fabulous video! I still feel sorry for these royal women
Glad you liked the video Toni !
That was one robust life!😮
Definitely ! Thanks for watching !
Le Grand Conde took care of her and she survived but Le Grand Conde himself died from smallpox

That would be my family tree, bueatiful women and well placed at court.I thank them for that.⚜️😏
Thanks for watching Emily !
Yep, like if you have Scottish ancestry, _not_ being descended from Robert II is an achievement, lol- the dude had 20+ children 😂
grantfather Le Grand Conde?? How it can be? her grandparents must be Luis 13 and Gabriel de Rochechouart de? Mortemart
Le Grand Condé was her grandfather-in-law. Apologies if this was unclear in my narrative.
@@TheKingsofFrance Oh thanks, I was confused too- I thought I must've missed something.
I do believe Louis Le Grand Dauphin was closest to Louise Françoise out of all his siblings she was a leading member of Caballe de Meudon Le Grand Dauphin used her palace as a love nest
Thanks for sharing this additional info with us Plamen !
Louis Le Grand Dauphin was close to Marie Anne and to Poupotte but what about his other siblings
We know Louis III (Louise Françoise's husband) was as crazy as his father but did he tried any violence against Poupotte
I have A question for you kings of France, have you heard of the TH-camr Eva Schubert ?
Hey brother!! I haven’t, but I have heard of it!!
@@lillineviellewasherelmao She's great ! Alongside of making videos on History; She also makes music videos.
Nope haven't heard from her. I'll check her out !
@@lillineviellewasherelmao Hey sister; have you checked out Eva Schubert yet ?
@@savagedarksider2147 SHE HAS GOOD SINGING 😍
Almost all of Louis XIV's illegitimate offspring, and especially the daughters, were considered rather witty, extravagant, and envious people.
So was their mother, of course ... Thank you for watching.
@@TheKingsofFrance and so was the French court lmao
