How about a museum quality 1972 X3 Black Fleetwood 60 Special fully loaded to the 9's !!! That will blow my doors off !! LOL All jokes aside, this is a phenomenal ride. These 400's with a 4- barrel are great running engines !
I had this same car that I got used from a GM executive. The car was built in the Texas factory and was a gift from the GM executive to his wife when new. They sold it to me 10 years later with only 20K miles on it. I keept it for nearly 15 years and it only had 71K miles on it later. Mine was in Cotillion White with Red paint stripes, white vinyl interior with red carpet and a red dashboard. It had a white top with a matching white boot. I also had the 400 V8--which was a rocket and would do a "barking" take off if you weren't careful. Loved this car and it was great fun with friends on a mild and/or cool day here in Atlanta. Sometimes we would have 8 guys in the car with the top down. By the way--this was the last year for the big GM convertibles aside from the 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado were made. 1975 had the Chevrolet Caprice Classic, the Pontiac Grandville, the Oldsmobile 88, Buick LeSabre and Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado convertibles. All '75 GM models were beautiful with the "scissor" folding "hide-away" tops (which gave back seat passengers a full back seat allowing the entire top to be folded behind the seat and not "around" the back seat taking up side space. The dashboard on mine cracked like crazy eventually--but otherwise, it was a beautiful car. I sold it to a car collector who did some resoration. Loved it! This one you have for sale is a true collector and beautiful. Tempting to bid on this one...:)
The non-working clock ,lighter and radio all indicate a fuse or other supply issue that should be easy to sort, as well as the slighly off steering wheel. A lot of new cars leave the factory requiring these things to be corrected.
Bill, this one doesn't blow my doors off. I've been spoiled by the stately beauty of the world-famous Barfy. Oops, I meant Marfy 😂 Actually, this Caprice Classic is very nice. It's a poorer-man's version of the Eldorados you have.

I had a client call and offer $75k so we took it! A 72 3X with show quality paint is on my list always!
Watching this makes feel like watching “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” Looks just like the Caprice used in that movie.
Oh cool, I will have to check that out!
