Oh my , that a beautiful survivor Cadillac! That takes me back to 1973! One of my favorites years of my life. For me, I loved how things were back then, the cars, the music, the homes, appliances, shag carpet, harvest gold, big console TV's, Marantz receivers. If I could go back just for a few days . . . . oh the memories! This car brings back so much that I miss. . .
I remember as a kid my Uncle had the similar Caddy. I used to get yelled at for playing with the electric windows. All my other relatives had mostly Chevys with manual windows. Even as kids in the 70s we knew that car was something special.
Back in the day I had a 1973 Sedan de Ville and then a 1974 Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance. Both great cars, but nothing rides like a Fleetwood of that vintage.
1973 was a great year for Caddy as the updates over the 1972 were beautiful. The grill and headlight design looked so much better, as did the rear tailights. The simple style wheel covers were so elegant and timeless. The interior was much improved as well, with much more plush door panels, nicer wood grain trim, and better seat sew styles. The color looks really nice too, and I don't recall seeing many this color. My parents had a 73 SDV with a gold exterior, black vinyl roof, and maize color leather interior. Simply beautiful.
Have a '76 Valiant sedan (with the V8 and some really odd options) I was given by the original owner. Was parked in the early '80's, so it was very, very original when I got it- like your Caddy, the seat belt buzzer even works!
Thanks for the memories. I had one of these in 1981 or 1982. It had its issues by the time I got it, but it still ranks as one of my all-time favorite cars. A medium blue, blue vinyl top and blue leather interior. I think I paid $1,500.00 at the time.
I owned that same car except it was a two door exact same color. It was in 1979 when I was twenty two years old. It had the same leather interior. I loved that car. Unfortunately I had to sell it in 1982 due to financial issues. Oh by the way I paid $2000.00 dollars for it.
I had a 73 coup . Best car I ever owned. Do you think that vinyl roof may need to come off for rust protection? I know that happened to me. This is a beautiful piece and the price is fair
The lower strip of vinyl below the trim would need to come off to address the surface rust spots, but I think could be reattached. I do not think the entire top needs to be replaced.
0:36 I'm really surprised to see the emblem centered on the forward edge of front hood? I thought ALL Cadillacs had the upright hood ornaments or at least the highest end versions like DeVilles, Eldorado & Fleetwood Broughams. This wasn't a Calais. My Grandmother won a brand-new 1954 Corvette at a raffle. She wasn't a car person at all. When the Dealership delivered it to her house, she asked them to park it in her detached garage in the backyard. After that, she brought out sheets, quilts and blankets to cover the car. Eventually things got placed all around it for storage. She never told anyone she'd won this or had it. In all the years we'd known her, she was very private about her things & no one was allowed in her garage. 53 years later she was in ler late 80s. Her neighbor asked about the car. It took her a while to remember it, then she did. With a stunned look, she asked him what he would charge to take that old junk out of there & get rid of it? He said no, I was going to pay you for it. He then offered her $1,500 for the brand-new 1954 Corvette, white with red interior & convertible top. The car was never registered & had 11 (eleven) miles on the odometer. It looked brand spanking-new like it belonged in a Museum 😮

Beautifully polished rust bucket
Beautiful car. Love the 73. The new owner will be a lucky guy.

Absolutely Stunning!!
Those cars last longer because most were easy to fix

That color is simply some kind of gorgeous! I would absolutely adore a Lyriq in this shade.

Very nice car rare color sweet interior
Stunning isn't the word. I wouldn't touch it being totally unmolested and being the original paint. It only makes it more desirable car. Just beautiful
Gorgeous !
Wow….this is the mother load find! The color, model…..my head is exploding 🤯.
Fantastic!
Motherlode.
That's the big boy .I had a coupe de ville same year
What a deal that is a rare gem
For Uruguay it is opportune to buy old cars and I need it for work
Nice Lac Nice color my man 👨
My dad had this car when I was a kid… and I remember that rust in the same spot… the vinyl top does that to the car
America is a big country and no one should be allowed to drive a small car.
Ugh !😅
Awesome car! I love it.
🏆 Very good representation of the Cadillac division from the 70s when size mattered 👍
A knock out beauty! ❤
Is it possible to repair the rust and prevent any future rust in that back window? To nice to allow more deterioration there... Beautiful!
To repair that completely you would need to remove the rear window. It is a strange spot, but common with these years.
lol mate listening to you talk about the Caddi , I need to listen Barry White to complete the feeling .
If you answer me I would appreciate it and please give me the value of that car or something similar. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yes Sir 👍🏾👍🏾💯💯
Gorgeous car!

I need to know if you are selling it and that you write to me privately.
I hoping to hear some christmas music over the radio..and how about those fiber optic turn signals
Walter Fuentes from Uruguay greets you

No coach lamps? Dad had one.

If you were to take it to a professional, would they paint the entire car to fix the chipped paint?
What town are you in..I love it selling my mustang anniversary with 30k.but I'm older and would love to have a car like that probably expensive
The movie was called Double Nickels.
