it's gotta be top 10 all time. perfectly layed out with that ahead of the time juggling and of course his crisp amazing scratching. he's the total package. ive jammed with him and when your next to the dude watching him do his thing these video don't do justice. he's a freak.
@@leebrandon3842 I second that mate, it was a very smooove set, transitions were nice, with his personal touch of uniqueness. One of my favorite all time sets..... That whole Competition had a few beasts...... Like roly rohl amongst a few others.
Honestly... this set was sick as fuck but I still think it was a toss up between him and spiktacular. For me I think spiktacular should have taken 1st place but that's just my opinion. Not taken anything away from ptrix. But if I turn on the 99 doc I wanna see spiktaculars routine first. He fuckin murdered that shit and Idc one of my favorite routines ever! Ba ba ba ba bombs awayyyy!!!!
The '99 finals was insane everyone was on it, Develop Rukus, even rholi on ur back, But to go first and totally nail your routine is the main factor, you set the standard, and remained winner
Really sick performance! His scratching reminds me a lot of Melo-D. Coincidentally, he scratching on one of Melo’s break records. I think it’s Gamblin’ Pete lol.
I keep coming back to this so many years later. If I meet someone who doesn't know what scratch DJing is or how it could be composed I send them here. It has several spots that make you go, "Damn!"
Huh?? Yes he does… that mix HAS to be done hamster due to the scratch used within it. (IF YOU NOTICE THERE IS WHATS KNOWN AS A HAMSTER BOX BEHIND THE TURNTABLES) which switches polarities from deck 1 to deck 2 … Bottom line, if you don’t know, just shut the fuck up
One of my favorite DJ sets of All time.

I see what u mean, but Ptrix was more original and creatively an outlier. Spektacular had a mean set, but there wasnt much new comparitively.

One of the greatest DMC sets of all time - all kinds of dope and his timing is on point throughout
I still think Slyce was robbed
WHOOOOOA. I haven't even finished watching...just reached 1:45...this juggle of De La Soul's "Itsoweezee" might be my favorite beat juggle ever.
So damn clean. He set the bar high that day.
a part of the impact of this routine is just how much damn fun he looks like he's having being up there and doing it. that and the juggling is mental.
Been watching his ‘99 World Finals routine for years, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen this one. Fascinating how it evolved.
Really sick performance! His scratching reminds me a lot of Melo-D. Coincidentally, he scratching on one of Melo’s break records. I think it’s Gamblin’ Pete lol.

I'm with it, but what did he reach for at :50 ? What happened there? Just wondering.
some of the illest beat juggling ever. amazing patterns and innovation.
Ripped em from Swiftrock(RIP)
1:17 is so ill - just lets it chase open fader and steps back cheezing, lol.
Still so classic. Would watch this all the time back in the day.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT MY TOP 5 DMC WORLD FINALS: ( i stopped watching them in 2004.)
1. Craze 2. Craze 3. Craze 4. Plus One 5. Klever
Klevers set was better. Dont disagree with the rest.
*than plus 1
No, not plus one for me
Swiftrock was robbed of his style and others won. RIP SWIFT
we getting butt this year player
P-Trix had his own style, don't think he's bitten Craze at all. And as for Craze being a replica of anyone is just a joke.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥beast
He doesn't juggle with the fader reversed at all.
He's crabbing the sample on the right turntable.

What did he reach for at :50???
Hamster switch to flip the channels back to normal.
This and Craze 1998 US DMC = 2 best DJ sets of all time.
legendary DMC set! P Trix
Why can trix make it look like he could mate brews while hes juggling his magic effortless dj abc uk
That my dogg.
i know theres an episode of jenny jones where p-trix brother brought him out to air some beef. anyone else see that?
@ftnrbhmwk naw, Craze is an innovator in a sense. bridged a gap between Miami Bass, DnB & hip-hop
which record is he using at the beggining for scratching on one turntable?
Oh my God.Did the saliva helps to sm0othen the cuts,
@DJNoonyez and craze is a roc raida replica and cash money replica....
Is this the best music performance ever?? 🥸🥸
