How to make Lebanese Fool (Fava Beans) | Fool Mdammas | Eats With Gasia

  • Try this delicious fool recipe for breakfast! It's super easy, healthy, and a staple Lebanese (known as Fool Mdammas) dish! PS you can use canned fava beans OR you can soak them fresh overnight!
    What you'll need:
    2 cans of fava beans
    2 tomatoes
    1/2 batch of parsley
    1 onion
    1/2 lemon
    2 cloves of garlic
    Olive Oil
    Cumin
    Aleppo pepper
    Salt

    Best breakfast on the planet. Fool, za'attar, cheese, fresh greens, lebneh, zeytoon, fresh pita bread. Perfect. Great recipe by the way. Never seen the onions sauteed first. Gotta try it.

    Great recipe Gasia, but you should curl the fingers on the hand holding the onion inwards. I've cut into my nail and had to get it removed at the hospital - wasn't fun!
