Hello Dr Janelle. Certainly with sugary foods and junk food, they had a negative effect on me regarding mood. I feel better since cutting out/down on both. I remember when we lived in Malta, we ate alot more fresh fish and my depression really did lift after awhile.
@@alexmitchell9277 so Alex what will you do this week to improve your Vege and fruit intake? Maybe concentrate on 1 meal of the day? salad for lunch? Smoothie with spinach and berries for breakfast?

Well thankfully we often have spinach and broccoli, also we eat apples, oranges and bananas and also some Asian vegetables like sayote(Filipino name) which I think is called bitter melon in Chinese. We thankfully eat a few greens and veg but no fish now as we live 60 miles away from the sea and the fish isn't fresh like it was in Malta. I have ordered some ultra omega 3 capsules too from the iHerb shop (the Now brand ones).

@@alexmitchell9277 i've been a strict vegan for 35 years and still have depression i exercise take vitamins Vegan diet is still the est diet for man please Read Genesis 1:29!
I have been picking lots of stigning nettles! They are not so tasty but they are for sure healthy. Spring arrived in Finland!
