Banana farms are very important if you want to go further. I had 13 of banana factories at lvl 75 and reached lvl 102 on hard before I decided not to continue because of the lag (AMD E-450 you know...).
if you watch the video carefully, you see that i saved after wave 70. after this run, i went back and re-started from 71 a bunch of times, getting to rank 31, and seeing how far i could go. died on 79 most times, although made it to 82 once. 79 is a major leap in difficulty from previous levels... 82 is a major leap in difficulty from 79.
plus triple spike-o pults need to be set target priority to "last" so they dont waste trying to snipe one baloon. if you fill the windy section with rings of fire it can pop anything
I asked one of the developers this exact question. Here is the response, "it only stops working when the frame rate gets below about 35 cos it can't speed up any more after that"
@345darthmaul1 Depending on how you update it, it can make all of the monkeys within it's range attack faster, pop more balloons, and if you're the right class rank, see camoflauged bloons. Dear lord, I'm such a dork.
The key to success on this track is banana farms. You can fit in 5 above the top lane, and 4 below the bottom lane. With all of them fully upgraded, you'll be raking in close to 20k at the end of every round. Then you can start massproducing Sun Gods, and you'll be good to reach 100+
tips, always remember to delete objects u dont need in higer rounds and also set your spikopaults targeting to last so it does more damage to more bloons
The Monkey Bucanneer is really the best to start out with. After its last upgrade it will have things under control right to wave 15. The time up to wave 15, you can build Banana Farms.

You didn't use bananafarms to assure you had a lot of money in the end? I usually have a lot more towers in the end, and get like 5-10000 pr round for the last 10 rounds.
It means "Red Bloon Equivalent", the number is how many Red Bloons would be in that wave if it was nothing but Reds. So if 30 Greens were in the wave, the RBE, would be 90 (30x3), get it? :)
I think the highest so far in hard mode of that map was 100-ish. I used a lot of the lightsaber throws with the moab bombers in the center, with the rings of fire. But you might not have unlocked the lightsaber throwers.....
I know how to pass all rounds with all lives, at the road map, start with monkey buccaneer upgrade him all the way through then place a bomb tower on that side of the road(helps against lead bloons) then just continue to expand on that side of road, it work 100% of the time, im on round 103
Nice firepower. I love the blastings sticking my fingers on the mouse. I love the colourful burstings. I really enjoy he fast paced action keeping me more focused on the game. I love the levels it gives me more ranks to unlock more firepower. The ring of fire is what I love best. The more bloons the more mney. Great graphics though when all weapons are in they tend to clutter one part of the screen.
i have a diff strat that involves getting a banana farm very early, and utilizing glue gunners very early. ended up at lvl 120 and just ended the game bc each round took 20 mins+ even on fast forward. the entire map was full of sun gods, artillery, glue gunners, and missle launchers.
Okay, I just played the Beginner map on Hard and did nigh equally as well as you. The differences are that I started off at rank 22, didn't lose any lives until wave 80 (when I lost all 100 of my lives), and reached rank 26. I request you doing another run of this when you hit rank 30 (if you haven't already) and telling us how far you get, because having all of this stuff available right off the bat is an extreme advantage. I bet if you start at rank 30 you can no-death Hard up to wave 100.
yes the music is great. whered you find it? and, its a nice interesting strategy, with all of the mages and catapults. you need to believe the power of more nana farms and glue and ice tho, and most importantly.. MOAB MAULERS ONLY 3??? but nice.
they fire faster with the 2nd to last upgrade, the missile launcher. and all my cannons have it. the final upgrade, moab mauler (i think), deals 10x damage to moabs/bfbs. and you can see that only about half of my cannons have it.
Also is there any way to delete your progress? Meaning, deleting the unlocked things so you can un-lock them again??? I find it's way better when you actually have every kind of thing placed on the map rather then just 5 Sun Gods and winning with that. o:
i got to level 105 and quit because my computer got too slow. a good tip is to get ficilities from banana farms and you can get like 35,000+ each round and you can get sun gods and you will be unstoppable.
@Klammerapfe How long ago was 156 the world record? Besides, how do you know they are cheating? I've done over 1300 on apocalypse (it's medium though, not hard).
i remember my best games was 237 games in, but i had to delete the save file because my ipod kept crashing in this round. sad times, I remember my screen being filled with jugs, moab maulers and sungods and banana farms.

@mysterio619tommy no, you should not use sun god, use tempest tornado(monkey apprentice upgrade 4), it's way better because it's loads cheaper kills more bloons and so on..
Fully upgrade the missile launchers. Get some planes in the sky. The dart monkeys are a waste of money. I have them, they eat up cash. The rings of fire are good next to the ice tower, so while they are being frozen they are being ripped apart, but i don't use the ice tower myself.
Yeah i have started sped up lets plays of this its just me going from mode easy to hard i have done 2 so far that is easy and normal check them out there pretty cool i am working on hard atm...
@mgspw13 You havent seen me yet.... One day I got board in BTD3 and used a mainly cannon strat and it killed! Not much escaped! And in this game it is for me 20 morb maulars, 8 ring of fires and 1 arctic wind vs the Bloon hoard...

1 extra tip i'v found, set the catapults for last balloon target so that they shoot straight along the whole path wiping everything out

@amithinda yeah, the dartling monkey is totally epic better than the super monkey. It's basically a super monkey that you control.
It's possible. The tack spawners at their 5th upgrade cover the whole track with white hot spikes This is very effective at thinning a group.
Moab Maulers shoot 3 rockets at once, so it's smart to upgrade them.

You are talking about the cannons, right? They fire faster with the last upgrade, so all targets are affected. :)

But the iPod is easier. Blimps never increase health or speed. So you could theoretically survive forever (even rounds 500 if one has enough patience)

glue towers or even glues their pretty cheap and work wonders, "gotta catch em"
One thing I don't like is he doesn't use the water... the Battleship (lvl 5 bucaneer) is beast and saved my ass when I got to lvl 108 (lagged out)

I'm currently on level124 and havent even lost a single life. Suggestion, start with the boat.

I have been to level 100 seven times, this track is fun to play because it is so easy to beat.
I don't think the canons are that powerful anymore they aren't working for me
