I've nearly 1500 hours played but only recently found out about the Configuration Manager, thanks to Ana. Thank you SO much for this Mod list! Now to find your video suggestions on how not to die in Valheim...
After playing Vanilla again about 50 hours or so, This came at the right time, because I feel like I can really amp up the creativity on my base if these specific mods are deployed on my playthrough. The ADHD and OCD of sorting inventory can be overbearing lol, but this game is so good and I keep coming back, but end up not progressing past certain points because it takes so much time organizing everything. GG and TY again for teaching me something new on yet another game we both enjoy.
@@Anabriella It worked out really well. It worked out so well I had to make a completely seperate storage unit for all the stuff I ended up needing to tweak down. lol. Mass Farming was the biggest blessing. Its what I planned on using regardless. I think the only one I plan on adding next is that little hop up ladders, theres a mod to make it like stairs.
Hehe, you're only first because I was cooking dinner. Ana is getting me to give serious thought to re-installing Val, enjoyed the game a while ago, and all the new stuff looks interesting. This mod list recommendation is awesome!

I really feel the default wisp light of 6 is such stubborn design. I want to hear why they didnt add allow us to slowly increase the range my upgrading or some other way to ramp up the mist clear diatance. I dont feel like the community is askijg for much. As you said, when moving forward and the wisp light is behind uou and literally cant see, it is so maddening once the intial mystery of mistlands has passed.
@@OrionP4 Completely agree. There is a mod that gives a progressive upgrade using eitr iirc, which I would probably use if I wasn't streaming, and impatient lol. But I think that should be incorporated into the base game 👍
once you go modded you aint ever going back, i even waited about a month before checking out the mistlands and the ashlands as i wanted my usual mods to get updated
Valheim Plus is a must have, actually, you can get rid of a few mods in the list just by using Valheim Plus, the original author do not update it anymore but someone took over and is updating it each time the devs make an update. You can configure so many things in this mod, it's just amazing, lots of quality of life. Also, the rune magic mod is pretty amazing, once you get used to it, it just adds so much to the game and you can add magic and classes on top of that. I can't play without the new Auga UI, not working at the moment but it's definitely an improvement over the the ugly UI. Finally, I'd say the season mod is a must have and offer so much variety in the classic game, it's a real plus ! (there are also mods for underwater clutter, life, swiming, ... This is something I hope the devs will work on one day)
Also, for me, ItemDrawers v1.0.8 by KGvalheim should be in the list. Once you tried those containers showing the content, you won't want go go without them!!

I don't generally use mods, I prefer playing Vanilla (I do use Planbuild for specific circumstances occasionally though). Have you seen the latest news from Irongate that the next "Bogwitch" update will include some quality of life features that include things like a scythe to reap multiple crops at once and the ability to craft stacks of items at once?
There are server mods, and client-side mods. A lot of client-side mods will work for you on a server/game with your friends without them using them too. I love torches eternal for this. But I've also used the craft from containers mod, extended inventory. I run around and all the torches are suddenly fuelled lol

@@Anabriella i just edit the configs manually outside of the game - is there any other benefit to it than being able to make changes while playing?

One mod I really love is ItemDrawers you get a box per item and it looks amazing in your base with the picture of the item it contains

A scythe to reap multiple crops at once already exists. It's called the Himminafl.

Plant easy is better than mass farming. As it works plant everything better. Iron Gate is adding a scythe to harvest quickly.

Can mods be used if you host a game for friends, etc? If yes, how does that work? 👀 Would love to know.

There are a bunch of hoe-related mods available. I don't use any - though I think the ones that remove dust, and stamina usage would be very useful.
