the mv for dlc was directed by novvkim (openly gay man, which is very brave in korea) who has worked with skz for years and made some of their most popular mvs - its pretty much confirmed that the mv was inspired by ‘billy elliot’ which is a story about a boy whose father makes him take boxing classes but he falls in love with ballet instead as he sees the classes for it in the same gym that he boxes (the part where i.n is inside the cafeteria looking at dancers outside seems extremely reminiscent of this scene). the movie itself is a pretty well known queer film so props to them for that lol.

the topline mv (not confirmed but pretty much implied) is reminiscent of money laundering bc they were accused of money laundering when oddinary became their first album to hit bb200 and anti fans were accusing them of fraud, they're essentially playing on the false accusations while performing a song bragging about their organic success and how they're the topline 😭

One of stray kids' most powerful tools is double & triple entendres (and they're sooo good at it). They do this with most of their songs where they take 1 concept and flip it in its different meanings. And while doing so they use beats, words, and expressions and even dance moves that have to do with those meanings. Examples of songs with triple entendre are item, cheese, domino:
👉ITEM: 1- Item (buff items in video games), 2- item (clothes and accessories), 3- item (the actual message they wanna say: my success is not dependent on items but rather actual skills and talent)
👉CHEESE: 1- cheese (food), 2- cheese (cameras and photography), 3- cheese (the actual message: smile why are u mad, also if u keep laughing at us, then we'll make u laugh more..etc)
👉DOMINO: 1- domino (pizza), 2- domino (game), 3- domino (actual message: we have so much impact that anything we do triggers a domino effect of reactions)
In the music video for super bowl they are wearing American football uniforms lol.

Tiger jk is actually korean-American he was the person who brought rap/hip hop to Korea and made it mainstream. He’s known as the godfather of Korean hip hop he’s been around since 1995 I believe. He’s also married to korean- African American Yoon mi-Rae who’s been an idol/artist since 1995 as well one of the first non Asian idols. They both heavy influenced hip-hop to Koreans.
They’ve filmed SKZ content and MVs w Bang Chan, Changbin, Lee Know and I.N driving, so they have their driver’s licenses for sure.
And we've also seen Hyunjin drive!

The last song time out was a birthday present for stays it released the date of the fandom name became official and that date is considering stays birthday and they always prepare some birthday gifts contents for stays almost every year. And they simple just wanted to say to stays summer came and let's just relax and rest don't trap yourself with bad emotions anymore at least while you listen this song rest with me

37:39 idk if anyone has mentioned it but TigerJK has been so supportive of skz since topline came out and even changed his profile picture on threads to fanart of a skzoo tiger version of him with han quokka. A lot of fans call him uncle and he’s basically seen as part of the extended skz family

For Item Natasha was actually pretty spot on with the comment about the song talking about Items like the kind you collect in a video game. That was the intention which is why it sounds like a video game and makes so many references to games. The items they are comparing to what you pick up in a video game is much like the life experiences, skills, talents and IT factor you pick up in life but that isn't tangible. They are basically saying people want their Items, want what they have, want to replicate it but its not something you can buy, copy or emulate. Much like in a game they have earned their Items, they have put in the work and added value to their items. So as much as others criticize but imitate, they cant replicate because that IT factor is all their work and talent. HAN and Changbin's lines respectively, kind of summarizes the whole sentiment in his line "Instead of cash, I have ambition and courage, the trinity of truth, sincerity, and humility" , " You got jealous because of my talent, I got the power, so I go farther I don't show it off, but they are all fascinated by the light behind me"
For Superbowl, the original song when it was intended to be God's menu was in Korean, for this album it was reinterpreted/rewritten by Chan and Felix to all English.
The English translation of the Korean title of Get Lit, although literally it say's Let's Die, it's slang that basically means the same as Get Lit. It's an expression used to say let's go out and party so hard that we die. It very much comes off like a song about just throwing everything out the window and just having a blast, which I like, when they just have a fund song. After all they are 20-somethings in their prime, who should work hard but party harder!
To Natasha's question about instruments, many times its sources and samples from sound libraries but JYP does have an extension catalogue of session musicians that can be used. Their music has a mixture, sometimes it's real instruments and others it's not. Sometimes you can tell from the sound, to me the brass in Collision sounds like a real instrument much like the guitar and piano in Youtiful.
FNF gives me bittersweet nostalgia. Since the song is about loss not only what was lost in the fires but also losing a loved one. The upbeat melody to the lyrics "I'm catching up" are especially heartbreaking happy. The heartbreak of someone not being there anymore but the slight happiness of knowing that as everyday passes you are closer to being with them again (catching up). When Chan explained that in the intro videos I gained a whole new perspective and appreciation for this song!

It’s always funny to see baby stays think the racha’s are rap/dance/vocal lines especially since in 3racha both Chan and Han are part of the vocal line. Rap and vocal line have a lot of overlap honestly and even the members that aren’t technically part of both lines still do both every now and then. Based on positions and what they generally do in skz songs the vocal line is Chan, Lee Know, Han, Seungmin, and I.N and rap line is Chan, Changbin, Lee Know, Hyunjin, Han, and Felix. Changbin, Hyunjin, and Felix obviously sing occasionally (and their voices are so beautiful) but they don’t do it often in skz songs.

FNF was indeed filmed in Australia. They did it between the Melbourne and Sydney concerts in February 2023.
1:39:21 for the driver license info's Lee know and changbin was the only drivers in the group for a while (Chan can too but at the beginning his driver license was just for Australia then he took for Korea too -probably 2 year ago he did this-) and finally last year hyunjin and I.N took driver license too and we even saw their driving skills in skz codes. There's not a specific information about Felix, seungmin and Han's driver license issue but the high possiblity is they don't have yet. ( at least I'm sure for han and Seungmin maybe Felix took in Australia who knows)
An unnecessary info about myself too I'm waiting Han for taking driver license lol (I'm just trying persuade myself because of anxiety 😅)
Chan left Australia when he was 15 and wasn't there much since so I doubt he did his license in Australia
@von1glik yes he did, he got his licence at 16 in Australia. He actually first left to go to Korea when he was 13. Prior to Covid and debuting, he came home on occasion as young men need their families.
If you want to refer to the interview with Eric Nam, Chan didn't want to disrespect him by correcting him. He was born in 1997 and left Australia in 2010.

My interpretation for ITEM is that everyone who wants to be like stray kids try to take their "item", like the things that make them stray kids. But in reality even if you do everything as them you still won't be able to replicate it, because what makes skz special is not an item, but members themselfs. So everyone wants their " item", like secret ingredient, but in reality - there's no such thing, they make the music special, not an object or a method.

Just wanted to mention FNF is about Australia's bushfires (hence why the mv was filmed when they were in Australia)
1:16:01 About who in SKZ play musical instruments, I know with certainty that half of them (Chan, Han Seungmin, and I.N) do play an instrument(s):
Chan plays the ukulele, and the piano (seemed like he played a bit of guitar as a kid because there is a video of it but he’s not well verse it it)
Han play the guitar (including electric guitar) and the piano
Seungmin plays the guitar (some also said the piano but I’m not sure)
I.N plays the piano
I have not seen it mentioned anywhere that Lee Know plays an instrument (him "playing" aka making noise with a recorder during their 4th anniversary Zoom call live was the closest thing he has done to playing an instrument). Hyunjin and Felix do not play any instruments either. The closest thing mentioned was that Felix and Hyunjin dabbled with some piano but not to the point of saying that they PLAY.
The reports on Changbin vary some say he doesn’t play at all, some say he dabbles with the piano, and other say he plays. But from my own experience as a stay I have never seen him play or seen it mentioned in their regular content so for now let assume he doesn’t.

Hi just a correction, Chan doesn’t play guitar, he only plays ukulele and piano. When Han, Lee know and Chan did their racha log Chan tried playing the guitar but he said that he couldn’t play it and that he'll just stick to ukulele. So maybe he could play in the past but has forgotten, I'm not sure.

1:32:33 interestingly enough, I do categorize Youtiful, 24 to 25 and #LoveStay (I think I'd also add Grow Up to this list) all in the same "type" of song. All three are beautiful, softer songs and all three of them are dedicated to Stays which makes them extra special for us. They also all have the same ability to make me cry when I take the time to sit down and register the lyrics and watch the videos. They do have a lot of different songs that are softer, but I think these ones are special because they're about Stays and gifted to Stays from SKZ. I love these ones so much, they're definitely my comfort songs (even when it's not Christmas because 24 to 25 is just so tender)

@41:50 honestly, they had to put up with so much shit from critics, they made their fame through all the hate, stuck true to themselves and are still very humble, so yes, they can brag, I'll HAPPILY listen to them brag about making it big and doing it in their style. I wasn't around for the haters (Maxident STAY) but I'll stand with them until the haters become fans (and even beyond that).
Time Out is BY FAR one of my TWO MOST favourite songs of theirs. Time Out is fun, and they look like they're having fun and I love M/Vs where they look like they were having fun (The other song is i hate to admit (Bang chan))
