After the Yawg's Will, there was a line where Phil could have cast Blasphemous Act from the grave for 1 off full price. It would deal Seth 13 putting him at 3 life then with his remaining 1 mana Lightning Bolt Seth to death.
Same as the rite of replication line, Seth could have sacced purphoros to Goblin bombardment to fizzle that, so reality shifting purphoros is more efficient than spending 8 mana on a blasphemous act
We need commender clash moments from this, either the lightning bolt or richard having spot removal

So, I'm not subscribed to the channel, because there's too many non-commanderclash videos that I don't want on my feed, but I've been watching religiously since season 2, and for years, each Friday, TH-cam's algorithm has recommended the new CC video. Today was the first day ever I had to look it up because it just didn't appear as recommended, even when refreshing. I don't know if it has something to do with the change of thumbnail or something, but I thought you guys should know, there's something you've touched that the algorithm didn't like

Richard is right about chatgpt having issues identifying quantities of cards, it would be very difficult for a program that doesn't understand the fundamental concept of mtg and understand the difference between 9 plains cards, and a card that is literally titled "9 plains" so it might easily just look that up and return back the closest result, being a plains card, and easily disregard the 9 beforehand interpreting it as a potential "error." While this might not be the exact scenario that happened, it's easy to see through this example why it's very difficult to get something like chatgpt to be perfect

I haven't tried to build a commander deck with ChatGPT, but I did try to get it to write some trivia questions about Magic. It came up with reasonable ones for the first few and it went down hill from there

Magic was brought up in a science video I was watching. They said you can’t build a “the best deck” because there are essentially infinite combinations of cards, and I’d assume it’s probably hard for chatgpt to figure out how to build a deck without giving it very specific commands.
I watched the tripple feature of LotR in cinema when it came out, and later with some friends a tripple feature of the extended editions. Fun times.

Man, i still do not understand the Lightning bolt thing with Phil (as in everyone was talking at the same time and i couldn't understand the correct way of playing it) but sure was a fun episode. Seth asking ChatGPT if it was drunk was hilarious.
You wait until Blasphemous act is on the stack while Seth has two creatures on board (if he doesn't play around it and play Goblin Bombardment) not knowing about the bolt he might not have played it but you never know. If he didn't Seth would've been at three and then you bolt his face.
Surely the Sundial of the Infinite was in the Squee deck because the A.I. looked at Rionya and Delina panharmonicon decklists, right?
i actually did this lol i have a really sweet golgari and jund deck now. it also took me like 30 minutes of reasoning and editing the decks with the ai but it really helped since i havent played since coco was in standard

On this episode of punt or punt, phil punts....and seth, not to be outdone, punts one and a half times in return.
So we all know Phil missed the epic Lightning Bolt kill but when he played Yawgmoth's Will, couldn't he have cast Blasphemous Act which will trigger Repercussion and deal 13 to Seth. And then, kill him with Lightning Bolt. Basically, running that sequence back (and very thematic of Kess).

In case y'all didn't know, (the paid version might be different) but chatgpt can't access other websites like edhrec (at least like on command) and it was last updated in 2021 I believe. So it won't have the newest cards and doesn't have access to good deckbuilding tools. I tried to have it make me a deck and it was terrible at it

The moment you realize that the non-sensic ChatGPT decks work 10 times better than any Viewer Submitted deck we have seen so far.
Chatgpt can also make custom cards and I'd be cool if you all had it design some and rate them on the podcast
I just used chatgpt to look at my obnix deck list and improve it by lowiering the casting cost of the deck it replaced all the cards with cheerio artifacts and 1 drop artifacts.

You guys needed a prompt crash course, there are ways to ask that give you the best results... for instance sometimes it will make up definitions of things that does not exist, and you have to ask: base on real information you have... bla bla bla... there are courses that teach you how to avoid these issues

The tutor on that last turn was an entomb, the card was going to the graveyard anyway, and he couldn't cast a mana drain from there.
