really found the video helpful thank you. how would you set the rotation in the game and software on a T300?
I always recommend 1080. 1080 is the most accurate rotation to real life in terms of a majority of drift cars and street cars.
What are ur settings in the thrustmaster Software?
Would this be good for a Logitech G29 as well? I’ve been on a wheel for about 5 days now and the only car I can seem to handle well is the Altezza. I’m 900 no assist. I’ve basically tried to tune all the other cars similar to Altezza, but to no avail. I still oversteer on transitions with other cars, which doesn’t make sense to me as the HP and Torque are almost identical as the Altezza. I feel like I’m giving it same amount of throttle, I don’t know 🤷🏻♂️ just tired of only being able to drift the Altezza. I’ll have to try these settings, thank you for the video and sorry for the long post 😅
It should work equally well being a gear driven wheel also!
The Altezza is naturally such a good car, I love mine too lol
I will say this setup guide and tuning tips won’t make you or the car better, this is souly to smooth out the FFB as much as possible and low tier wheels. I would take a gander at my older videos that are detailed tuning guides where I really dive into ideal car setup and numbers, and explain what everything does and how it affects the car. Remember each car is actually different, has different physics, etc, so no two cars will be tuned the same. The most crucial thing with CarX is proper tuning, and practice practice practice. When you mess up, focus on what you did that caused it, and try that exact same scenario again. Study your mistakes, and was real life videos.

I need help, i just installed carx on my PC (before i played on ps4). And i have a t150 but can just use the buttons but cant steering and the paddels don't work.
Make sure you assign everything correctly in game under the settings. Also make sure you have your firmware and software for your wheel up to date while you’re at it.
Any idea why my wheel doesn’t spin smooth? It kinda like stutters or jitters or jerks like it’s the force feedback or something when I’m tryna spin the wheel in rotations. Any idea how I can fix this
Most likely either in tuning (high caster, etc) or in the new wheel settings. Remember this is with the old wheel settings UI, there’s tons of new settings now. I’m working on a new video, but RL is keeping me very busy
My thrustmaster t150 just jitters and i tried these settings, i also turned it down but it just shakes, its 2 days okd
Its not the wheels fault. Its the tune or ffb settings

Hey man, I just got carx and ive a problem with connecting my fanatec csl dd to it…. For some reason it won’t calibrate (it doesn’t even show up) and the buttons and axis don’t work. Is there any I can do to fix it? I’m on a pc

Any tips because i can’t control my car as the sensitivity feels so high, Andy tips as to how I can solve this. I’m on a Thrustmaster t80 488 gtb
Not much you can fix with a T80. You have zero Force Feedback since you don’t have a legitimate servo motor, you just have a bungee system. Non-FFB wheels are practically glorified controllers sadly (not trying to sound rude). I would advise in returning that wheel for at least a T150/TMX, or saving getting one, and get the setup with the T3PA pedal (three pedals), and you will desperately need a clutch for drifting

been trying to get my settings for this horrid wheel and its just not goin well, keeps me away from everything except for dirt rally and f1 so frustrating
It can be unnerving getting CarX to feel good, especially compared to other games. Just follow these settings and my tuning advice, and you should be able to get a long decent. You can see in my in-car/live cam video that it is possible, just don’t expect it to be modded Assetto or anything

Correct. If you’re on TMX, set to 900 in the software, then use 1080 in CarX, and calibrate it to 1000-1000. This increases the steering ratio and makes the feedback smoother and inputs more accurate.
If on a T150, set the rotation in the software to 1080 instead of 900
1080 is the most accurate degree of rotation to real life
idk but i have litarary only FFB in the center of the wheel... and then the ffb randomly disappears and selfsteer is not there at all

I need more details. Console or PC? If PC, regular version or PTR? What wheel is it? Is your firmware up to date? All this stuff matters.
If you’re having this issue with these exact settings on the current regular version (not PC PTR), then it’s something on the physical wheel side of things it sounds.
@@Kouki413 its an issue from ther Normal CarX build from the Steam Shop. i cant tell if its an problem on Console aswell.. i have Newest Drivers/Firmware etc. on my T300 but that youtube link i posted is a workaround.. apperently CarX applies FFB to all input devices plugged in.. and turning those off helps too fix it

Plug the wheel in via USB and outlet power supply, and will automatically detect.
On PC you’ll have to go through a setup wizard and download firmware/software and make sure everything is up to date

Keep practicing. Make sure your tunes are good. I have tuning guide for CarX as well.

My wheel just vibrates and glitches playing this game I'm on a tsxw I uninstalled its unplayable
It takes tweaking, as well as understanding the tuning. The caster, camber, tire compound and tire pressure directly affect the FFB feel and strength. Being on a TSXW, you would need to turn the FFB strength down in the settings, then make sure you set to 900/1080 (whichever you prefer) and calibrate your wheel. Then adjust those tuning options to a realistic setting and you should have a very good baseline to adjust from.
I do understand there is a new PTR and the tire model and physics have been heavily updated. I will be delving into that soon hopefully. I’ve been very irl busy for a few months.
@@Kouki413 thanks for the reply bro. I'm used to assetto corsa it runs smooth as on that game. IL play around with car x I've downloaded the new ptr beta and I'm still having the same issue. My wheel almost glitches out in drift like it osilates and vibrates etc maybe it's tune il try it out most things you've mentioned I have done except tuning I didn't see a point in playing if my wheel wasn't working properly. It's the only game it'd had trouble with
