My play style is take every single weapon with me everywhere because I think a bear will fall out a tree and kill me, run over my fire everytime I make water, throw stones at wolves, break my ankles going up 2 feet of snow, and starve. :(
My play style is geared to mass resources and milking every bit of resource to produce more. I currently have 80 pieces of meat on my front porch. Only cooking the raw meat when it is low condition to reset the condition. I caught 9000 calories of fish in one day, I just couldn’t stop. I only explore when I need an artificial item(ie whetstone, ammo)
In the example, I'd have hunted, and then used paint to mark the spot on the map with the corpse, and come back next nice weather with a hacksaw, to more easily take the meat apart.
I don't have a real plan i just tend to just roll out and find good spots to bunker down for a while and then explore the local area round my current safe house before moving on after the Area starts to get to hot for me to stay much longer due to more predators, shrinking of available resources or just boredom and finalises exploring the local area. Then i move on to another good spot to camp in for a while and repeat. do this till i have finalised the whole current map i am on and then move on to another "level" part of the world. I of course while doing this do sometimes go out of my way and have some fun or try new things out or craft new tools. I dare myself to do some questionable moves sometimes as well. I am a hunkering Traveller i would say i move in for a few days or week or two harvest the area then move on just before things become to spicy to stay any longer, and let them local area recover and regrow and such. Their is one big flaw with my by the seat of my pants method many times i have been jumped by a Wolf coming around the rocky bend out of nowhere. I also get caught in some bad spots in bad weather sometimes as well and i nearly always live some how and get back to shelter. nearly most of the time. I found this method to be fun and well daring i say, a bit of risk never hurt no one, except when it does.
Im new to the game too, currently i'm in mystery lake and still haven't got a weapon to hunt with lol, food is becoming a big problem, just have to hold out a few days for my sapling to cure so i can make a bow or happen to find a gun, its getting tense
@@spikey288 go to the lake cabin and try to get a few fishes, you should find a hook and wire in the cabin and the fishing huts. spoilers ahead the poachers cabin is further south on the left side of the train tracks. their is a gun their and some more food and ammo. be careful though as a bear is near their sometimes and takes many rounds to go down. also wolf packs.

How do you not get bored out of your mind without doing something unrealistic like going and living in a cave when you have a perfectly warm cabin to live in?
I'm not sure what you mean? As it stands I still have a great many 'vanilla' things to do without pushing the boundaries before I'd consider it 'boring.' And even then, by the time that comes around we'll have several new regions and gameplay adjustments.
Well, not exactly. You don't need a forge run or to slam for timberwolf mountain, even in stalker, before day 60. You don't have to balance pushing vs recovering in the early game nearly as hard. However, the rest of the tuning you do in Loper would deffo make the game easier, but again, I don't think most people will have that kind of skillset unless they play a fair bit of Loper, and a lot of people who play Loper rarely go back to lower difficulties so that knowledge can't spill over as easily. That aside, you do have a valid point. That kind of tuning and knowledge makes the lower difficulties much easier.
NO, YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE MY 'extremely obsesive and borderline crazy' HORDER CULTURE. I NEED THOSE 10 RIFLES AND 30+ CAN OPENERS!!!!! :P
Hey now... no one said hoarding was bad.
@@Lonelywolfofficial it does make the game mor fun some times. It can also make it harder because you are to slow to run from a wolf
Have them, sure, fine, but do you need them with you at all times? Or can you put them down so you can carry those 12 car batteries back?
Bro, I do this all the time, I hate not being able to walk anywhere.

Whatever works best for you mate! Min/Maxing resources will let you survive a really long time.
Love this series bro please keep making more
So many more coming but glad you like them!

@@Lonelywolfofficial Well thanks i do find it fun, hope you are enjoying the game to this day, i am still new to the game.

Eyyy bro a new subscriber here ^^ I love your videos keep it up man
Thanks mate! Glad you have you on board!
I have died a few times from "left bed roll in base".
I nearly did that but managed to obtain one in time.
Lol me too
Great video, all tld players should relate to this one.
Thanks mate!

Everyone can handle things differently. For me, it's pretty easy to know where I've been and how to get back, but it's not always that simple.
Don't worry buddy i also walk the trails by the seat of my pants as well.
I’m the same way
Yay more long dark tips!
And as always, more to come!
Yo keep up the good work!
Thanks!
@@Lonelywolfofficial hi i thought that it would be a good idea to do a guide about the new update mainly because of the revolver
my playstyle is perfect and doesn't need any fine-tuning at all whatsoever, ive never made a bad choice in my life :P
No, not ever...
LOL
Hey, another very helpful video. :D I have a question, is this video just old or you somehow changed hud in settings? I mean the look of needs-bars.
No, the video itself is brand new. However, some of the montage footage used in it is from previous versions of the game.

You talked about tuning up but what about tuning down?
The game gets easier when you apply interloper tactics after all.

@@Lonelywolfofficial unless you're playing with guns on custom set to interloper playing stalker gives a hard challenge while being able to use guns.
What do I struggle with the most ? Navigating with a map lol.
Have you tried to create your own challenges ? As trying to survive as a vegan lol.
Have you tried the challenge in real life?
