I loved hearing from the two female volunteers. I am in the application process right now and I have been wondering how I might be treated differently from male volunteers. Thank you for sharing this!
@your mom hey dude, number one is I’ve actually lost 80lbs since that photo was taken, but thanks for your input I guess LOL and second, acknowledging that the experiences of male and female volunteers may be different is in no way me trying to change a country’s culture. Have a good day :)
thank you for this, and especially for taking the time to talk about sexism with the two female volunteers! Really interesting to see where you all are at now as a future PCV.
Colt many thanks for this series. Really appreciate you giving us all insight into the life of Peace Corps. Going through the Application process right now. I can not express to all of you how appreciative people in my situation are for what you have all pulled together. Many thanks guys
thank you for suporting other countries. i am learning about the peace corp whilst off school during lockdown and your videos of your volunteering have really helped me understand what you do to help others. (bobbi age 8)
Hi Colt, your videos are terrific! I was a PCV in Senegal and I remember cooking with the same ingredients from the local “boutique”. Among volunteers we had a competition to figure out who could make the best dinner for 4 with 1000 cfa using only those ingredients...Alfredo sauce is a genius idea! (Btw I am Valentine’s mom!)
Delayed PC-invitee here...Perú35. So many things I could be working on in preparation. I just hope I get to that plane, one day. Thank you for the wonderful content! That's a subscription outta me!
Colt, thanks for the video! I am interviewing for the Agroforestry volunteer position in Guinea in TWO DAYS! I'm watching your videos for spurts of encouragement as an attempt to educate myself beforehand.
I enjoyed their take on things and especially the two female volunteers. Also the two female volunteers were great but the only thing I STRONGLY disagree on is how they said there weren't very many female "role models" because a lot of the women don't have an education. A good role model has morals. and doesn't always come with a polished education. Sometimes a good role model wants a better life for their child or the villages children.
I use Premier Pro which is awesome but expensive. Davinci Resolve is free and really good but difficult to learn. There are many others too but I haven't tried most of them.

I'm glad it was interesting! Incredibly important to talk about topics like that, I'm glad they were both willing to share

Thank you! Also, what a great idea. We'll have to try something like that here!

Good luck!! Guinea is amazing, I'm sure you'll do great with the interview and I hope you'll join us!
Colt Bradley thanks a lot. I got my invitation and so excited to be over there. Now, I am focusing on the medical screening. Aaahhhh!!
Incredible videos. I absolutely love your channel
Thank you, means so much to hear!
Love the videos!! What camera are you using?
I shoot mostly with the Canon 5d iv and a little bit with phone/GoPro whatnot. And thanks!

This is very true!
Thanks for sharing!! Do you think it's possible to be vegan while serving in the Peace Corps?
It would be really hard...I'm vegan now and there's no way that I could have while serving. It depends on your country, though
good vid!
What video editing program do you use? 😁 trying to find a reliable one!
Also I second the darn Chipotle burrito.....
