    As senegalese I have to precise that « Asking permission » means letting them know when you’re leaving and when returning in order reassure them. Telling them when people come to you is nothing but for them to prepare the « Teranga » (hospitality) for your friends.

    Thank you so much for making this video. As an older female, it was really nice to see the transparency in the experience as I am very very heavily considering serving in 2022. I liked seeing the challenges and the rewarding experiences as I think it will fuel my drive to volunteer as well as manage my own expectations. Much love.

    Good job Franco, that would be nice to have an Ag PCV too.
