      Obi is just wasting his time to curry cheap political gain. Kanu would remain there till 2031 when Tinubu would have handed over to the Northerner.

    Peter Obi reasons like ordinary Nigeria, release Mazi Nnamdi Kalu we beg you president Tinubu. Prove to Nigerians that you're from the South West with a different swag.

      If the ipobeasts have killed Tinubu as instructed by Kanu during Endsars, what would have happened now? Why didn’t Obi beg ‘Jibrin Sudan’ that arrested and put Kanu in custody? Tinubu shouldn’t release him until after 2031.

    Releasing violent agitators in Nigeria is equivalent to surrendering to criminality. The so-called agitators in various parts of the country are criminals and should be treated as such. Peter Obi is overestimating his political influence in Nigeria. Calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu is misguided and a misplaced priority. Kanu is a criminal who must face prosecution, and any Nigerian using violent means to agitate must also be prosecuted and held accountable for their crimes if found guilty. One of Nigeria's major problems is lawlessness, and strong law enforcement measures are needed to restore sanity and order in our country rather than letting criminals go free."

    • @koa4130
      @koa4130 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My brother, I beg to disagree with your conclusions. I am not a fan of Kanu, but I think in approaching his case, the federal government (Buhari and now Tinubu) have employed double standards! I will return to this point later.
      You're right: there is lawlessness in the land, but who is more lawless than the leaders of the nation? Who promotes violence during elections in Nigeria more than the ones you're asking to deal with Kanu?
      Ours is a nation that doesn't like peaceful protest like the Endsars! Presently, things are so bad in the nation, yet many of the so-called elected (or selected people because it's not so clear if many got their positions through the ballot boxes or through a corrupt judicial system)!
      Let me return to the Ipob leader. Sometimes, to make peace we have to be wise in handling certain realities.
      Why don't you ask what causes agitation in the first before sentencing people to death?
      Nigeria as a state has failed many because the leaders don't act to improve the lives of the people.
      And I tell you, Ipob is not the first, there was the NigerDelta that the smart Late Yar'adua managed to bring under control... Buhari failed in regard to Kanu and his agitation; Tinubu, should learn from the late Yar'adua, and find a peaceful way to resolve the Ipob crisis... there's always a way out, and I think conflict resolution is still possible.
      But, first things first: release Kanu and dialogue with him he is not as bad as the boko haram or fulani herdsmen that have been killing so many people in the north and Buhari forgave them etc...!
      Kanu or the Ipob are not worst than the ones making some parts of Northern Nigeria a war zone!
