It's hard to choose really, there were things I liked and things I didn't like in all of the episodes. I think the second half of the series was stronger and established Ncuti as The Doctor, and I really enjoyed the finale. Looking forward to more reveals in the second season 😊💕

Since this is more of a fairytale season and she narrates to us, I'm thinking Mrs. Flood is like a Mother Goose (the Boss of all fairytale) type of character. Space Babies had a baby planet. Dot and Bubble had 20somethings with parents on the home world. I think there will be something important with this disconnect in families. I think when we get some questions answered and go back and catch things we missed before we knew, it'll change my list, but at the moment, my list is: 9. Space Babies 8. Empire of Death 7. Rogue 6. Boom 5. Legend of Ruby Sunday 4. Devil's Chord 3. Dot and Bubble 2. Church on Ruby Road (tbh, it might just be because I can't get the Goblin song out of my head 😅 but I really think it's their instant chemistry and it sets up so much hope for the rest of the series, but very memorable) 1. 73 Yards (I know there's more to this episode and more to Ruby, despite what this finale said and it has such an impact, I can't stop trying to figure it out...I think there's something about ap GWilliam- maybe her half brother?... but the biggest thing is why everyone runs away after looking back at Ruby. I'm just so intrigued by it.

Maybe just call her real character Mother with the hint that it could be the Doctor's Mother, but turns out she just wants to be called Mother. The more I think about 73 Yards, the more I wish it was a two part story. There was so much more to have explored and what a moment that would have been for Millie to front a two part show. She was fantastic in this episode and could have easily carried it further. I hope Roger ap Gwilliam makes a return. Some wasted opportunities here 😊👍
My list is a bit different 😂 9 - Rogue - had it's good points Rogue himself being one but on the whole I just didn't enjoy this episode. 8 - Space Babies - I actually enjoyed this episode it had it's faults but I ended the episode having enjoyed it and laughed a bit too so sorry not sorry. 7 - Devils Chord - It again had it's good moments but Maestro was just too over the top for me and really got on my nerves. 6 - Church on Ruby Road - I really enjoyed the episode and actually loved the goblins and the goblin song (far more than the always a twist song). 5 - Empire of Death - Some great character moments, edge of seat in some, absolutely loved Mel in this and had no issues with Ruby's mum being an ordinary person but the pointing explanation was a wtf moment and too many things not adding up to the hype Russell put on it made it disappointing and makes me just not trust him anymore. 4 - 73 Yards - I do wobble between this and number 3 as I actually really enjoyed them both but can't do a joint 3rd so this goes as 4. I sorted the explanations about things out in my own head and am happy with that 😂 3 - Legend of Ruby Sunday - kept me interested throughout with some stand out moments for most of the cast, loved Morris Gibson character as a penultimate episode it had most things in. 2 - Dot and Bubble - an episode that made me have to rethink myself and my echo chamber and try to understand why I didn't see the racism until it was pointed out by someone reviewing the episode. An episode that makes you think like that as well as actually enjoy the episode which I did (Justice for Ricky 😂) has to be a blooming good episode. 1 - Boom - I admit this is not Stephen Moffats best ever episode but I loved every minute of it and it is one I can watch over and over and still love (and I may have 😳). Overall I really enjoyed this series there is only one episode I will be inclined to skip over in rewatch's and while I enjoyed the finale it definitely will not go down as a favourite and I was underwhelmed with some of it and it did make me not want to speculate or theorise anymore which is sad in itself 😊 ETA I love that everyone is different in which ones they like nobody is wrong in their lists just different and that is great 😊
